BEST burger I’ve had all year. Juicy fresh meat, fresh veggies and the cook did not disappoint knowing I was riding without cheeks. I will return very soon and found a new favorite fresh burger joint!
Parking is the only downside of this place, so just deal with it! Worth every second!
The service was quick. The young lady who took my order was very professional, nice, and informative! Extra points to her for recommending the rib! Apparently the rib option is on on Wednesdays.
It wasn’t just ribs, it was a huge beef rib, beans, corn bread, mac and cheese, and coleslaw! It was a “dinner” to be sure!
The “brisket fries” which I believe are their Detroit loaded fries, was a very generous portion!
As far as how everything tasted…. the rib was so tender, jucy and flavorful! Literally fell off the bone! No knives were used during me eating any of this! Lots of napkins, but no knives! The corn bread was soft and moist, with lots of flavor. The beans got better and better with every bite! The mac and cheese, was a cut above other mac and cheese! You could tell this was house made! Now the coleslaw…. to be fair I hate the stuff. All those Ruben sandwiches… you just ruin great sandwiches by adding the stuff, in my opinion. So I figured I would try a bite and then throw it away…. welp I was sorely mistaken! At first look, it barely looks like what I imagine when I hear “coleslaw ” there is some corn and I discovered after like my mouth bite parmagrante seeds in there too! And the use of what I can only guess is their spicy mayo made this a coleslaw I will eat from here on out!
The Detroit loaded fries…. exceeded everything I could hope for! You dont just get plain soggy greasy fries with some meat on top… you get wonderfully crispy seasoned fries, that are amazing on their own, topped with some of the most tender brisket I have ever had!
My stomach and mouth argued with each other as I proceeded to devour this food! My stomach needed to stop as it was beyond full! My mouth would not let my hands stop shoveling more and more food into it, because it tastes so good! After eating two thirds of everything I literally had to throw my fork across the room and declared that I need to stop eating!
(This whole order was enough for 2 to 3 people)
I am left with some leftovers, that I can’t wait to eat! And being Thanksgiving Day full!
So task failed successfully. I went in for a burger and fries. I left with the most beautiful and delicious lunch! I look forward to going back to try thier burger and fries… however it will be a burger and the Detroit loaded fries!
Thanks for the good business!
When a burger is made it has to be eaten right away so, I suggest you arrive a little early too because sometimes they may be occupied or busy and you may have to wait for the customer ahead of you to place their order, that’s life.
Order, arrive on time, and they will deliver. This is the stackalicious a fav of mine, come on man just look at that! You can’t make this at home!
The burgers were great, cooked as we requested. They did both come with lettuce (shredded) and tomato, which wasn’t listed on the Burger description. So make sure to tell them if you don’t want it. I recommend the Mushroom & Swiss!
Fries were some of the best fries we’ve had at a fast food place. They’re seasoned, little heat and sweet. Very unique!
Mac & cheese bites, if there’s a disappointment, these were it. Although we love Mac n cheese bites, and honestly is one reason we picked this place, these were a let down. Most places they’re larger, these were small, like cheese curd size. Which means more breading less Mac n cheese. Of everything we had, these are the one thing we wouldn’t order again. Sad, because we actually seek out places that sell them! We’re huge fans of Mac n cheese bites, just not these. Very little taste other than breading.
Drinks are a can, not fountain. Not a huge deal, unless you’re eating on the road. Cans are a little harder to prevent spilling. I only mention it, so you’re aware, and can skip one if that’s an issue.
Ordered chicken strips, can’t say how they were, I forgot to try them. Just ordered to go, for the 2 dogs. They loved them though.
Seating is extremely limited. More of a grab and go place.
Parking is an issue, they’re located between other businesses, we had a difficult time finding a place to park, none of the lots or sidewalks around them were cleared. They did clear in front of their building, just watch your step going in! Its in the center of a strip mall, kind of run down, tough to get into, but worth the effort.
All in all, we were happy. Food was done before we got there, she handed me the bags, away I went. It was hot, service was great, staff really friendly. Can’t ask for more! We would go back if we’re up that way again.
