Mariah was very patient and attentive when serving our big group of 11. The private room and ambience was a vibe. The food was worth the price cause the serving was huge. Thanks UPH for making my birthday special!

The food was good (fried chicken, collards, cornbread, fries = would order again) but the Nashville hot chicken didn’t have a tinge of heat and Mac n cheese tasted like it was from the Walmart deli. Alright overall but not 5 stars for the price point.

First time going here and it did not disappoint. The atmosphere was great, our service was great. Which was actually the bartender and his name was Joe and he made us a delicious homemade lemonade. The food was just the best. Well worth the amount. I would definitely recommend and will be back.

Style over substance all around.

I went with a group of 3, we had a reservation and were sat quickly. But service was slow overall. It was busy so not unexpected. It seemed like a lot of food was waiting at the pass at any given time which was odd.

The dining area is very open with terrible acoustics. The sound of other diners alone made it so that my party had to practically yell to be audible to each other. It isn’t cozy, like it’s going for an upscale minimalist look.

The food was alright. I ordered a bacon ranch Nashville chicken sandwich and a salad on the side. The sandwich was overcooked, with lots of very dark bitter batter. This place does that “very quirky!!!” hipster place thing where the sandwich is obnoxiously tall and hard to eat. There was no detectable hot sauce to make it a Nashville fried chicken though. I asked the waitress if the side salad had more substance than just leafy greens and didn’t get a straight response. She was being friendly and funny but it was hard to hear so I ordered it anyways. The side salad was literally some leafy greens with TWO cucumber slices on top. Waste of a side.

My girlfriend got a quirky funny hugely tall burger as well. The meat portion was hilariously big and not seasoned through (what a shock.) Her macaroni and cheese side was meh at best. No salt, overcooked pasta, and gritty cheese sauce.

They serve you (probably tap) water in a plastic bottle at the table, meant to be self poured into quirky tiny glasses. Hilariously small, half the size of a whiskey glass sized glasses.

This place feels like it’s trying way to hard to be hipster/cool but can’t pull off an appealing style or basic food. Feels like a confused mess stuck between wanting to be a pub and finer dining. With the worst parts of both! Mediocre food and not even a cozy place to relax.

This place was fantastic. From the greeting to seating to the meal, service was great. The meal was top notch as well. Drinks were spot on and creative with names and recipes.
Scotch egg, grouper and shrimp corn dog, and duck hearts on toast were great starters. My wife had steak while I had the crispy pork shank. Desert was Créme Brulee. Great meal and great value from start to finish. This place is part of the reason Pensacola’s food scene is bumping!

If you love very expensive but mediocre food, drink and service, this place is definitely for you.

On glowing recommendation of several bartenders and waiters in the area, we decided to try it.

We arrived and the front staff didn’t say hello or greet us, they asked if we had a reservation. We did not. We were told we could sit outside in the heat and wait for 25-30 minutes on waitstaff or sit at the bar. We opted for the bar even though pretty evident the air conditioning was barely working inside.

We order the pimento cheese pups. We were very excited to try. As a born and raised Southerner, I was excited to try. It was just fair to middling at best. It was sweet and didn’t have any pimento cheese flavor to it. There was some commercial processed cheese shreds underneath that added nothing to the dish. It was so uninspired that we chose not to order anything else.

It’s clear that this is a quantity of quality restaurant. The staff aren’t friendly, the food is meh and the drinks are uninteresting. We will not be back.

We came tonight and were not overly impressed. My wife ordered the fried chicken which was way overcooked and dry. The server tried telling my wife the white meat will.always be a bit dry. She also wasnt very apologetic about it. My wife only ate the cornbread that came with it. We got our bill and they took half price off the chicken and still charged us $16 for cornbread and fries. The water comes in a fancy bottle to be shared at table, but is clearly tap water. I ordered the pork butt over cream corn. The cream corn was undercooked and cruncy. Its also served on a rectangle plate that is about 4.5 inches wide and is incredibly difficult to eat off. Honestly none of the food was good and you can tell our server isnt experienced.

The positives was the place seemed upbeat and lively. I was gonna do 2 stars, but the female manager came out and was beyond apologetic. Her generosity saved that.

Maybe they had off night after reading other reviews, we will try again soon. If better ill change rating.

Union Public House delivers an unforgettable dining experience that blends warm hospitality, creative cocktails, and outstanding food. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with genuine friendliness and seated quickly.

The evening started with a round of drinks, and I was impressed right away. I got the watermelon margarita and it was fantastic. The bar here is clearly well thought out. Each cocktail was balanced, flavorful, and beautifully presented. It set the tone for the rest of the night and raised my expectations for the food to follow.

For an appetizer, I ordered the pimento cheese pups, and they were nothing short of incredible. Perfectly fried with a crisp golden exterior. It’s the kind of starter you immediately want to order again because one plate never feels like enough.

The star of the experience however, was the crispy pork shank. It was the best I’ve ever had. The meat was fall-off-the-bone tender, bursting with rich flavor, and paired with sides that complemented it perfectly.

Union Public House is the kind of restaurant you’ll want to return to again and again. Between the exceptional service, inventive drinks, and truly outstanding food, it’s easily one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. Highly recommended!

Unique French style restaurant serving up one of a kind dishes. This place can get busy so try to get a reservation. Must try the duck hearts if you like to explore. Large drink menu as well.

My Wife’s birthday and wanted to try Union Public House. So glad we did. Seated immediately (4:30pm)! Our server Seb was the perfect. Knew the menu and recommend some great items. We ended with the Pork Shank, Smoked Brisket on homemade cornbread and a wedge salad. Everything was very good.
