I was happy to see that the menu had all the classics on it and a few more new ones. As always, I started with the Chicken Tortilla Soup because it’s honestly delicious and one version that I really like. It’s very hearty and has a lot of chicken in it. For my burger, I chose the Bluenami and added avocado and thought it was great. I usually do the Maui so I wanted to try something different. I’m glad that I ordered it. The fries weren’t as good as I remember, but some things are just like that. We also tried their new strawberry cream soda, and I did like it. Wish they would do free refills of it though.
Overall, I would recommend if you are looking for a place with great burgers and a lot of drink options in a casual atmosphere. Just know that the price can be a bit more than you’re expecting but overall we had a really nice lunch.
I order online and by the time I walk there it’s ready!
The Double Stack burger is delicious, always fresh and always cooked just perfect, NEVER overcooked and dry.
Their lunch burger deal beats out all of the nationwide burger joints in price, portion size, and above all quality, freshness and taste.
I also like their Toucan sandwich, it is pretty unique and very good!
Their fries are also fantastic even without salt, which is how I order mine all the time!
I have to thank the kitchen staff, because they’re always spot on and deliver with care a nice presentable meal that looks as good as it tastes!
The staff is also amazing, from the host to the servers and Manager, everyone is always nice, friendly, courteous and welcoming!
And finally, the restaurant has a pretty unique Hawaiian theme, always has great music and it is always spotless.
Well done everyone!
2011. Where in fact my son (pictured) first paycheck was at this restaurant. This location is Cheers to me and the family in my life as every one knows your name.
Shout out to Frankie (Manager), Apollo (Manager), Linda (Manager). Bartenders Miguel, Mia, Chris, Dash, Alex, Patrick, Evon and a host of others like Eric and AJ.
The Kona pie, a mocha ice cream cake, is spectacular! I had one for the first time in almost seven years, and it’s just as good as I remember.
The burger (Pipeline) was really good but had a bit too much mustard for my taste.
Service was excellent and our server was really friendly. They also played good music 🙂
Maybe the walk-in freezer had a leak IDK…
Oh also the margarita tasted like a dollar store clearance can of swill…
It might be a good idea to invest in a better quality margarita mix guys. Yuck.
The second time was when there was a Nordstrom Rack. However, the Nordstrom store wasn’t there anymore. I was like, what? … or maybe it is?
My fiancé and I were in the area and decided to stop at Islands and have an early dinner. We waited like 3 mins to be seated, not bad at all… Overall, the area seems dead. Like hardly any action around. Maybe because it was a Sunday. Only Starbucks, that wing spot, the theater, and Islands were open. Pretty dull area.
…and having to pay for parking is ridiculous. 3 mins free. What? Most people exceeded that time. So yeah, forced to pay to shop.
Anyhow; the food at Island was delicious. Especially the smoothie I ordered. My impossible burger was delicious. Very reasonable price point.
I would go back to Island, just another location.
