This place is great. I had rocky mountain oysters , calf fries or as they call them prairie oysters , very delicious breaded , just right , not overly. The burger was amazing cooked, just as I ordered it medium and The Onion rings and hand bread, a huge tower, everything was delicious.nAnd the service was great , I sat at the bar,Mariel was a great server attentive , friendly and pretty

Not worth the price for the food. Service was 5 star but food wasn’t fresh and tasted cheap. Way overpriced. I had fajita salad and the salad was mixed Salad with chunks of white lettuce (the part no one eats). Loaded with too many vegetables not enough meat on a plate to small. Everything was falling off the plate, so I made a mess. If you’re gonna pay 25-38 for food don’t serve mixed vegetables in a Styrofoam cup. Geez. Husband had chicken fried steak it was ok, mashed potatoes tasted like KFC mashed potatoes. WAY OVERPRICED!!

Stopped here for a steak and pizza. Was told after we were seated with drinks tgat they were out of pizza. Fried onion, fillet, chili, and burger were all good. Service was not well focused on the order of people arriving. After we tried to order pizza we waited 10 minutes for our server to come back.

I should have listened to the 3.7 rating. Instead I thought, let’s give them a chance. Huge mistake.
The waitress barely welcomed us, spent most of her time chitchatting with regulars and even pressuring them into tipping more. After finally taking our order (just a burger and fries), she disappeared. We watched our food come out, sit there, and sit…and sit. She was right there talking and laughing with her coworkers. My husband even saw her look at the plates, then she turned around and walked away.
By the time she brought it over, the food was flat-out cold. Not warm. Not lukewarm. COLD. When I told her in Spanish that the food sat there too long and we weren’t eating it, she acted surprised and tried to say it took longer because she needed ketchup. Really? We literally heard her the whole time talking and laughing while our food sat forgotten.
We told her we didn’t want the food and would just pay for the two drinks. And then the final insult: when we paid cash, she just kept the change. Didn’t even ask. The audacity of assuming it would be left as a tip—whether pocketing it or skimming from the till, who knows. Either way, unacceptable.
Awful service, cold food, and zero accountability. This place is not worth your time or money.

The food was good and the portions were enormous. The prices were not great. In fact, it was pretty empty when we were there. A comment was made that had the prices been better, there may have been more customers to serve.

I’m telling you if you’re in Dodge City Kansas and get hungry you need to check this place out. And definitely give the mountain oysters a try.

Very well done! We visited the Museum and then ate here at Cowboy Capital. The jalapeno poppers were large, bustin with cheese and bacon wrapped juicy. The KC New York Strip was cooked a perfect Medium Rare. Our waitress was courteous and friendly.

We went for a family dinner. We had 4 adults and a toddler. The toddler wanted mini corn dogs and mac and cheese and they wouldn’t let us have the Mac as a side so we went ahead and ordered her 2 kids meals. No big deal. We all ordered steaks. The appetizers came out pretty quick. Our server on the other hand had to be asked for refills every time because he couldn’t see the empty glasses. Steaks finally came out, 1 was undercooked so asked them to cook it more, still came out raw, sent it back again. At this point when it came back still undercooked and cold we asked for a manager. The manager took quite a while to get there, the person was in the restroom so the manager went to the bathroom and met the person outside the restroom and told her she could either refire it again or have them make a new one. By the time they brought out the new one, everyone else was done eating. So we got boxes and asked for the check. When we received the check we asked for the manager again because maybe we shouldn’t have expected it but an apology or some kind of discount on just the one meal since it wasn’t able to be eaten. The manager never came back instead sent a waitress to tell us no discounts would be given because they made a new steak. I would not suggest this place to anyone. Very disappointing experience.

We had a large group (about 15) and the service was quick and friendly. Easy atmosphere. Our steaks (KC strip and ribeyes) were cooked mostly perfectly and were very tasty. Also, the Buffalo wings were of good size and fresh.
