Well the food is very bland, no flavor. I got the crablegs and my husband got the fried platter with catfish, oysters and shrimp. They only put Cajun seasoning on the crab and corn. The crab was decent, corn was undercooked. The only good thing I can say is they are aware of the size, so they give you a decent amount of clusters. Nice place with potential, they need help in the kitchen.

Not many restaurant options in the area and this was the only one we could find without a wait. Lost a couple stars just because the prices are so high ($80 for two kids meals, the fried catfish and shrimp basket and 1/2 pound shrimp and crab legs). The kids chicken wasn’t great, catfish was ok just didn’t have any flavor. The hush puppies, shrimp and crab legs were pretty good though. Was good for a quick lunch without having a wait but can’t say we’d go again.

It’s hard to not say anything but good things about this place!
I can say my friends and I throughly enjoyed our experience here.
The line was long, but we had drinks while we waited and it did not take long for our food to come out… well for most of us at least.
My friend ordered the half shrimp, half crab legs and it took about an hour to come out. And that would be OK, but they did not inform us of the long wait when we ordered.
Again, all the other food came out quick, but being careful when ordering anything boiled.
I just wish they would’ve been more transparent about the wait times for boiled food so that is why I dock a star.

We got the catfish and shrimp, along with the crab boil. The shrimp was pretty good. The catfish was good. The frys were semi cold. The crab clusters were pretty small, and it was hard to get the meat out. The lobster chowder had an odd texture and wasn’t very good. The atmosphere overall was casual, not romantic.

I hate giving bad reviews, but this place was not great. Did an order over the phone, the lady who answered was very nice. We ordered a 3 piece fried catfish and 6 piece fried jumbo shrimp. Honestly, I spit everything out. My boyfriend ate most of it, but it was extremely bland!!! I kid you not, when he opened the shrimp box I had to see if his feet stunk because it smelled so bad! The fish was not crispy, and was so bland. I could only eat a corner piece before spitting it out. Hush puppies were nasty. I don’t think I can say anything good about the food. I think this place is convenient, has a nice atmosphere, which is why it works. But never again will I order from here spending $35.00 just to spit it out. Believe the reviews about the blandness. Gave it a 2 star because my boyfriend ate it all, if not it would be a zero for me.

This place was great! Yes, it was expensive, but their prices are online and we actually spent less than we expected to. The fries are perfect and the burgers were amazing. My husband got the shrimp and crawfish etouffee and he said it was the best thing he’s ever eaten. Don’t be afraid of the frog legs, as they were the best I’ve ever had! We also got the oysters “rock a fella” and it was divine! The bartender out on the patio was the nicest gentleman and his drinks were top notch! We’ll definitely find ourselves back here next time we’re in Broken Bow!

My partner is a Florida coastal guy and he absolutely loved it. Said it reminded him of small fish shacks he grew up going to. The Mexican shrimp cocktail, fried shrimp and oysters, baked grouper, grilled oysters and lobster mac were perfect. Thank you for the lovely dinner, we will be back!

Service is friendly and food comes out fast. We walked into a longer line but ended up not waiting long.
– Crab legs were a bit dry / small but the butter was tasty and they seemed fresh. – They nailed the Steamed shrimp w/ garlic butter, favorite dish of the table w/ boiled eggs/sausage/corn. – Fried catfish was hot & fresh, crispy on the outside. Fried okra was good, and crispy. Best fried okra in town. – lobster chowder was rich, if you like a lot of flavor and seasoning this is a dish for you. & it’s house made so big plus. We shared this between 3 people. – fried jalapeño chips were good to snack on between main dishes. Crispy & lightly battered.
Live music on Saturday nights, self serve sauces, lots of cold beer choices.
Overall a great place for a small town casual relaxed meal. Lots of kids and families. We ultimately hope they re-fresh some of the dishes & add a new flavor or seasoning here & there. Has been a god spot for a long time. Maybe about time for a lift. Hope to return soon.
