I’ve been to Norfolk Boil Bay three times so far. I’m giving it a 4 out of 5 stars because my third visit was during lunch and the quality wasn’t quite the same as my dinner experiences. That said dinner here is amazing. I usually order the 1-pound seafood boil and it never disappoints in the evening. The dinner atmosphere is much more lively great music playing, good vibes all around and even a dance floor open for anyone who wants to get up and dance. Overall it’s a great spot especially for dinner during lunch our waitress wasn’t the best.

This hidden gem seafood boil spot was such a great find and perfect for a date night out. Nothing fancy, just incredibly delicious food done right. The seafood was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. We came here on our vacation to VB and wanted to try seafood boil and we were glad to tried this spot.
The sauce is truly the star absolutely incredible. We went with the option to mix all the sauces together, and wow… it was bold, rich, and unforgettable. Every bite was packed with flavor. The fried rice was also delicious and complemented the seafood perfectly.
However the waitress seems to have an attitude at the time when we were there, but we didn’t care much of her ways we wanted to enjoy our time. Sometimes these things turn away customers.
But , If you’re looking for amazing seafood in a laid-back setting with big flavor, this place is a must-try. We’d definitely be back!

I ordered the crab legs, shrimp and Cajun fries with their Boil Bay Special sauce. Everything was delicious! Definitely recommend the Cajun seasoning on the fries. The vibe was excellent, and I recommend going on karaoke night which is Friday and Saturday nights. We were a party of 6, so they do charge 18% gratuity automatically. The service was excellent.

I really appreciated how attentive our server Deyonna was, she delivered on every request we made, and to be honest, that level of service is rare in our experience. It truly made a difference and made the meal more enjoyable.
The food was very good and affordable. I just wish the Cajun sauce I ordered had a stronger Cajun flavor, but overall, everything tasted great.
We also loved the music playlist, it added to the vibe. The only downside was when one explicit and dirty song came on, which felt out of place with the otherwise great atmosphere.

We were a party of 5, pleasantly greeted by the hostess. Seated promptly. Our waiter greeted us with a smile and took all orders with attention to detail. We received everything accurately. My only complaint was my margarita. The flavor was off, and our waiter quickly replaced it. The bathroom was clean, and the ambiance and music were just right. Plenty of parking. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. I’m here visiting from Texas, and I will definitely return again.

The food was very good. My husband had the shrimp Po boy and I had the catfish basket and I choose sweet potato fries. The food was very good and prices reasonable with good portions. They had music and the atmoshpere and service at the bar was good. We were originally seated at a table but it took too long for a server to come to out table so we went to the bar. It was a weekend and they were pretty busy with large parties.

There were so many good combinations to choose from it took a while to decide. When we did we were verry satisfied each of our bags were sealed so it stayed hot and was sooo delicious and plentiful, there was enough to take a to go bag and eat later . We had the best waitress so attentive and friendly…The atmosphere was so cozy and perfect for meeting up with old friends . Will definitely be back when we’re in town again.

my fiancé and myself came for dinner. food was pretty good except the crawfish very over cooked, dry to the bone. we had no issues up till paying, waiting for the waitress to come back a cockroach ran across the table. totally ruined the experience.
