Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I’m very disappointed with my recent visit. I placed my order and waited outside as instructed, but was completely overlooked. Several customers who ordered after me received their food before I did. I eventually had to go inside to check on my order, only to find that it had been sitting there ready.

In addition, the order did not include napkins or the necessary condiments. These are basic items that should automatically be provided.

This experience shows a lack of organization and attention to customers. I would appreciate follow-up from management regarding how this will be addressed, as this was not the level of service I expect.

If zero was an option I would have easily selected that. No utensils, napkins, had to get down to get my food. To make up for the inconvenience treatment one apple pie for an order of three.

Food was really good and hit the spot. The cooks were good the two times we went. Inside of restaurant was nice. Outside the restaurant looks questionable. No ketchup in the bag even though the girl said there was. They gave us the drinks in a cup holder in a bag but the drinks were leaking so much the bag was filled with soda from when the girl bent down to pick up something she dropped. Staff were nice.

They refuse to replace my order after coming to this location many times on their mistakes on my order or forgetting things I ordered on multiple occasions and I have the receipts and still giving me a hard time and I download the whataburger app and ask for the free burger when you download the app and I even did it in front of the work and he said it didn’t work and he was it was because I just downloaded it and to wait 5-30 minutes to try again a and Same thing and I asked to speak to the manager and he said that he was sorry, and there was nothing that he could do and that he wasn’t going to replace it
And just bad mean and rude service

Online order, they didn’t prepare the order correctly, missing items, missing burger, Easy ice Large drink was 80% full of ice is basically a little more than a can of soda, preferably go inside to make sure you check the order and grab wherever you need because the driveway is awful.

Normally good service but the last two days I’ve gotten out of work (night shift) and when I order a Ranch Wrap at 4 in the morning, someone there has a problem because they purposely douse my wrap in jalapeño ranch soaking everything in it. At first I thought it was a mistake but today they definitely put a lot more seeming intentional.

First of all, I am shocked with the quality of service outside of their working environment, especially on what standards they go by to signify a Whataburger employee. On 8/14/24, I stopped to eat at this whataburger and arrived there right by the time their lobby was going to close. I asked if I would be a bother and that I only wanted to eat in peace and would not make a mess and clean the area after. The employee said not to worry. I received my meal and ate quickly then cleaned the area as I said I would. As I was about to leave and proceeded to turn my truck on, it didn’t. The battery had been giving me trouble, and so I was stranded for about 3 to 4 hours waiting to get a jump start because no employee at that Whataburger wanted to give me a jump start. The manager, Seth, said that the truck was not his. I pleaded with them to please help me out that I only needed a quick jump start, but no was every employee’s answer. I was in disbelief how a restaurant that bases itself on providing exceptional customer service and is a Texas tradition, and they can’t even provide a simple jump start. I walked up to another person inside their car while it was running, and they said they couldn’t give me a jump start because their car didn’t work. I asked them again just to be sure I had heard correctly, you can’t because the car doesn’t work ok, thank you, I understand. Keep in mind the car was running. Unbelievable. I literally was in disbelief how some people can just turn their head away from providing simple assistance at the cost of nothing that can mean and make a big difference to someone. Maybe I am wrong?

I understand it is 2:00 in the morning…but. some people have overnight jobs, and this is when we get to eat dinner.
Can you ask someone to repeat how they want there meal 3 to 4 times and you’re asked to NOT put onions or tomatoes on the burger.. still happens although there was an amazing wait in the drive though (where they always have you pull up to a certain line so it doesn’t effect there window times)

Just… do better in food service. Fast food or otherwise. If you’re going to “put on the order” no onion or tomatoes. Why put it on the burger? Pay attention to the order screens.
