Pompanos gets some credit for flavor, but the crawfish experience was pretty average overall. The seasoning they use actually tastes good, but it wasn’t nearly spicy enough for us. We even asked for extra seasoning just to get it closer to the heat level we like.
The bigger issue was the crawfish themselves. They didn’t seem like live crawfish and most of them were on the small side, which made peeling and eating a little disappointing.
We ordered 5 pounds, but it felt like a noticeable chunk of that weight was potatoes, corn, and a small portion of sausage rather than crawfish. Not necessarily bad, just not what we expected.
Another small thing that added up — they even charged extra for a side of butter, which felt a little nickel-and-dime considering the overall experience.
Overall, decent flavor but the quality and portions left us wanting more. For the price, we were hoping for bigger, fresher crawfish and a little more kick.

A nearly perfect experience. Came in after the Monday lunch rush. Quiet, only a few other customers. My wife had the all you can eat shrimp, a weekly special we are told. I had the fried fish lunch special. The potato boat appetizer is great with their homemade ranch. Everything was delicious, I ordered more fish, so flaky. I think we found a new go to seafood restaurant. We will be back.

Highly recommend! First time in for a late lunch… great atmosphere, yacht rock hits playing in the background! Nice bar and the food was terrific! On game days, they have $1 shrimp and $1 wings… so I tried 2 sweet Asian wings/ 2 lemon pepper wings and 4 fried shrimp! All 3 were hits! Will bring my husband soon… this place is that good! Bread deserves a mention… I usually pass but these rolls ere very, very good! Enjoy!

Our 1st visit to Pompanos and it was worth the wait. The atmosphere was perfect, the servers were very attentive and the food from the gator bites to our flounder and shrimp was fresh and hot. The shrimp were huge. We will definitely be back on our visit to Corpus Christi from Beeville

Definitely will be back to this place 10/10 highly recommended.We ordered Stuff Crab Mushrooms and they were delicious has an appetizer.Then we each ordered the Shrimp Headed Boil Shrimp “WOW”the size of the shrimp were very jumbo.The seasonings that it had in it Garlic Butter,Cajun and Old Bay tasted so amazing that you didn’t even had to order any more butter in it.And the Snow Crabs were a good size and tasted delicious with the different garlic butter flavor they added in it.And let’s not forget the drinks they were sooo cold and tasty.They even added Tajin with salt and a lime in my drink! From the manager to the waitress that attended us was very professional! Thank you from Houston ♀️

Wow I just wanted everyone to know this place was amazing me and my wife went last night for the first time. And we were blown away the food ,drinks, appetizers ,atmosphere our waitress(Sadie)was absolutely amazing. Everything was just awesome. And also forgot to mention the bartender. He did an amazing job on making cucumber martinis ask for Sal.and half way through our dinner date this gentleman came up to our table to ask us if everything was ok he introduced himself to us. He was the owner of the restaurant (George). We told him that he had an amazing restaurant and we would definitely come back again. Just letting y’all know our experience.

Our bartender Saul made us amazing drinks and had great conversation, Colleen was our waitress who took amazing care of us, gave us the best recommendations and an overall perfect experience. The salmon was great, perfectly cooked burgers, and delicious boudin balls to start. We had an amazing experience and the owner George checked in on us a few times to make sure things were going perfectly, and they were! Thank you guys! We will be back soon!

First time here and it was great.
Restaurant was super clean from the entrance to the bathrooms.
Service was great, food was very well proportioned and seasoned just right. The mixed drinks was delicious and not too loaded, but not weak.

The all you can eat shrimp special on Monday was the best deep fried shrimp that I have ever had in my life! I was a little leary, but it was the lightest crispy crust on a delightfully large, perfectly cleaned piece if shrimp everytime! The mussel appetizer was terrific & vey flavorful! Their service is impeccable, they really perform as a team. The atmosphere was warm & inviting. Prices were amazingly inexpensive. I highly recommend!
