I found this Salsas on DoorDash after being disappointed by other Mexican restaurants, and we have never been more impressed.
The food is ALWAYS hot, fresh, and they pay close attention to detail for instructions on DoorDash (changing protein, taking out ingredients, etc.). They also don’t skimp on any ingredients, always provide extra chips and salad when we order chips and salsa appetizer. (Others never do this!)
Not to mention the salsa is AMAZING! So fresh and you can tell it is made in house.
Overall, this location has the best Mexican food in my opinion- they pay close attention to detail, give generous portions, and take pride in the food they serve, it is absolutely delicious! Even with to-go DoorDash orders.
The food is consistently excellent and truly authentic.
We spend a lot of time in Mexico, and this is some of the closest food we’ve found to the real thing.
Love the San Miguel de Allende-style décor and the great atmosphere.
The staff is always super friendly—especially Gloria, who is amazing!
Ground beef tacos had been worse and worse so I tried the Asada tacos. They were half fat, and still somehow dry, chewy and tough along with flavorless. They were either way overcooked or it was old and reheated. I ordered mexican style and still had to ask for limes, which were desperately needed because of how dry the asada was.
I even ended up using the sour cream we requested for my childs food so I could finish 2 out of 3 of them. I left the last because the process of chewing was more work than the food was worth.
Soda was mostly soda water, they aren’t changing the syrups out and you get charged $4 for the flavorless colored soda water.
Service was mostly fine, but they are running this place with a skeleton crew on the floor so don’t be surprised if it takes you a minute to find your server.
The inside of the restaurant is in decline also and it makes the entire experience feel like they’ve stopped trying and are just trying to cash out. The AC is never running so it’s weirdly warm and humid inside and half the lights are either out or flickering.
Not nearly good enough for $70 pre-tip for a family dinner.
You don’t need to reply to this review asking for feedback, I’ve read the other (recent) poor reviews and there is a VERY common thread running through all of them. The reviews ARE the feedback.
Delicious food as I had from here before but this time was horrible .The steak I had on my burrito was very very chewy almost undercooked. I had placed my order for pick up but when i picked it up it was cold and i wasent even late or far from the location. Dont know if i will be going back it was almost $60 bucks worth of food.
People at the door looked happy at least..
