Clams & linguine is my absolute favorite pasta dish and this one is 100% in my top 5 of all time, and I’ve had this many places across the country! I’ve moved out of Jersey but make this a stop for this dish every time I’m back east!

While you can’t always tell a bad restaurant from the smell of the kitchen from outside, a good place will have that aromatic smell that makes you hungry before you get to the front door. I was on the fence about stopping in because the parking is fairly sparse but I’m glad I stuck it out. Tracy is fantastic, makes excellent recommendations (glutem free mozzarella sticks, who would have thought!) And is super friendly.

Stopped in here for lunch on a Sunday. Alfonso’s is deceptively large on the inside. Staff was fairly attentive and friendly. Bathrooms are inconveniently located on the top floor. Food was decent and plentiful. I ordered pasta that came with a salad and that salad was a meal in itself. The pasta wasn’t cooked great and a bit hard, but the meatballs were tasty. Pizza looked fantastic and I think I would get that next time. Good place and I would come back here for another try.

First visit here yesterday. Was surprised how fast their service was. Drinks were brought out fast. Also learned that Pasta is cooked al dente ( semi hard ) if you want it soft you must say so. Food was very good

Let me start off by saying that I was a single person going for dinner. The host sat me in the corner and removed the other plate on the table so my view was the Christmas tree in front of me. The whole restaurant was to my back.
The whole meal experience was too fast. As soon as I was seated I was literally asked what do I want to drink and eat. It was so fast that I did not even have time to look at the menu. Once I picked out what I wanted the bread and salad came so fast that I was never asked what dressing I wanted on the salad. The food came out minutes after the salad and bread. I didn’t even have time to put butter on my bread. Food was plentiful and adequate.
I ordered an old fashioned with woodford reserve bourbon. When I saw the bill I was charged $21 ( I should not be charged speakeasy prices)for an average drink in an average place with untrained service.
Poor value, untrained staff, or they trained to turn tables at rocket speed

Portions are big , prices are reasonable but there was big raw chunks of garlics on the Margarita Pizza .

I was surprised by how big and nice this place is inside. Nice bar area too. Try the espresso martini! Really nice ambiance, friendly staff, and great food. I had the Chicken Parm dinner and man was the portion huge. My wife enjoyed the calamari Alfonso, and penne vodka. We split a tiramisu for dessert which was fantastic. Again very nice portions for everything. Highly recommend checking them out!

Haven’t been here in years and was glad I came back. My dinner was delicious. Pizza was delicious. The place itself is nice and the service was great. The cocktails were made perfectly too. I enjoyed my meal so much I cant wait to come back!
