Disappointing visit, especially for a brand that used to be iconic
The side door was locked, even though the sign clearly says “THIS DOOR SHOULD REMAIN OPEN DURING ALL BUSINESS HOURS.” Not a great start.
A huge part of Krispy Kreme’s appeal was always the hot, fresh donuts being made right in front of you . That’s literally why there’s a glass window — to watch the magic happen. But every time we come in, there’s nothing happening behind the glass. No donuts being made, no experience to enjoy.
The donuts themselves are hardly ever fresh anymore, the staff isn’t very friendly, and the overall vibe feels disengaged.
Why is there only Coke in the coolers? Where’s the milk? This is a donut shop — milk should be a basic option.
We really miss the Sour Cream Cake Donuts — they were the best . The quality has clearly changed. The donuts are smaller, denser, and nowhere near as good as they used to be.
My almost-2-year-old daughter enjoyed her donut, but honestly you can get better donuts at a random local donut shop these days. Something major has changed at Krispy Kreme, and not for the better.

Just ordered a dozen donuts online for pickup. Let’s say all the donuts are old. The apple filled filling was hard and dried out. The cake donuts were flatter than a cookie and old. The dough was not made right. Tried to call the store at 11 am and no one answered. I will be filing complaint online and seeking a refund as the whole dozen was inedible. Really bad. This was one if my worst donut experiences ever. I would have been better off buying them in the grocery store. Just look at the photos…..no those are actual donuts not cookies! Do not waste your money or time going here….horrible experience.

I stopped by the Krispy Kreme at 8815 Preston Rd, Frisco, TX 75034, and the experience was nothing short of fantastic. The service was absolutely incredible. Everyone there was genuinely kind, welcoming, and a pleasure to interact with from start to finish.
We came in to pick up donuts for a holiday work event, and I couldn’t have been more pleased. The donuts were hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious, exactly what you hope for when you think of Krispy Kreme. It was clear the team takes real pride in both their product and their customer service.
This location truly stands out. Exceptional service, wonderful people, and perfect donuts. I highly recommend this Krispy Kreme and will definitely be back. Five stars without hesitation.

This location has not improved since the last time we went about 6 months ago. Donuts are not light and airy like Krispy Kreme has been for decades. Photos don’t lie. And the service was mid. Sign at front of the store and on the drive thru stated 2nd glazed dozen for $9.99. My total at the window was $32 for 2 dozen, so I had to ask for the special. No problem adjusting to $26, but seriously how much money do they make off people by not automatically ringing up the advertised price?

Very uninterested staff. I was in the store on the 14th or 15th and my daughter wanted the plain heart shaped glazed which were coming out of the frier but the server refused and said it is only for the Valentine decorative doughnuts so I asked can I have those and she said they are not available right now so I asked her to give me the ones which the staff at the back was dipping in the strawberry flavor and she refused. She said she can only give the ones in the display so I bought a dozen but those were the worst Krispy Kremes I’ve ever had.

This review is specifically for pre-ordering online, only to have some of them sell out by the time we went to get them. We ordered the Harry Potter release at 7:25 am for pick up at 7:45 am. When we get there, our order had not been pre-packed, & the walk-in person in front got the last Hufflepuff donut. What was the point of pre-ordering and pre-paying, only to have something sell out? You should treat online orders just like walk ins. The order comes in, you fill it. Imagine if we had ordered, driving 20 minutes one way, and they sold out of everything?
#firstworldproblems I know. It’s just donuts I get it.
We were told “First come, first served.” Yes, and we paid at 7:25 a.m. ♀️

Nice place for fresh assorted donuts. You can get coffee here as well hot or iced. Well known with the locals. Also known for group catering and large catering events. Great for family and kids who love donuts. The price is abit on the expense side as it cost $15.00 to $15.50 for a dozen donuts. They are on the app, too good to go, which allows a much more discounted price for the donuts. ENJOY!

Krispy Kreme doughnuts are our absolutely favorite doughnuts in the US. They are always so fresh and basically melts in your mouth. And now they have 4 new flavors. I can’t wait to try them.

Absolutely the worst experience i have ever had at this location. First, pulled up to order and there was one car at the window. He came on the speaker and said to give him a minute. I replied no worries. I waited aprox. 3 to 4 minutes. He came back on and i placed my order and then was told to.hold on again. I ordered a 6 pack of glazed donuts and a large hot coffee with two cream two sugar. He waited a couple of seconds and asked me to repeat the order which i did.The one car has left and i am the only car around. He asked me to repeat order again. I did. I pulled up to window and he asked me if i wanted hot or cold coffee. I told him hot. He gave me the total, I grabbed some cash $16 and counted it twice in front of him, i gave it to him and he says “oh we can only accept cards no cash” Ok. Should have been something you told me at the menu when i was placing the order and waiting five minutes for you to take an order not after you saw me count the cash twice in front of you and try to pay you with it. This place has slowly been going down hill and getting worse.
BTW I am in the industry and i know that the 5 star review that was sent 45 min ago is a cya.

The staff is super sweet but they can only do so much when they rarely have fresh hot donuts in the evening on time. If I owned the store, I’d be livid because I’m not the only customer that’s in there at the same time and that walks out without purchasing anything.
Once or twice, I understand you being behind, but I drive past this location at minimum 4 times a week and when I stop in, because you know signs can break, they have no hot donuts.
The poor counter workers are so kind but the same excuse only works so many times (it’s the same man every time). They are running behind.
Well, when the person responsible for making them doesn’t bother showing up until 5 PM when they’re supposed to be hot that’s going to be an issue and needs to be corrected.
This has been ongoing for months and months and months. When we moved over to Frisco, it was September 2024. They just don’t care about their company policy or customer service if you’re supposed to have hot donuts how is it that only 2 days last month of the 16 days I drove past did they actually have hot donuts actually ready.
And if they answered the damn phone, people wouldn’t have to drive over there without knowing and wouldn’t be so pissed. But I guess that’s a ploy because they think people are going to buy anyhow since they’re there but they don’t. They walk out.
