This is THE best frozen treat place in Montrose! They have an incredible variety of flavors and one is better than the next! Today I got the Blue Honolulu and it was so refreshing and not too sweet. Of course the freshly made waffle cone was a must and it did not disappoint. I cannot believe it took us this long to try this place just because it’s in the beginning of the street, but now that we have tried it, we are never going anywhere else again!

This was my first time at Paradise Cafe, but it certainly won’t be my last! The flavors of their ice creams were outstanding and brought back wonderful childhood memories. The tastes were authentic, not just artificially flavored. I sampled quite a few before choosing my favorite, and I truly appreciate Brea for her patience in helping us try so many options. A big thank you to the management for fostering such a fantastic customer-oriented team!

A+, 10/10!! Best ice cream spot in Honolulu!! Family small business with kind, welcoming, and personable owners. We have been hoping for a strong ice spot to come to the block, and here it is! Handmade on site. Delicious, new flavors each day. Knowledgeable staff. I have an egg allergy, and they were able to immediately provide feedback on which flavors were safe for me. They also had standardized labels to guide the customer on various flavors (vegan, dairy free, etc.). Joe who helped us, was awesome! When we asked about different flavors, he kindly invited us to try them. He made us feel like an old friend visiting his home. Very kind and generous.
Okay the ice cream was delicious. With my allergy, I normally have no decision to make, there are two or three flavors egg free, and only one really hits my palette. Not here…I got the trio (three scopes and three flavors), and it was genuinely tough to narrow it down. They had a limited edition berry sorbet; it was fire. They had an oak-milk peanut butter chocolate chip, also delicious. It was light, yet very flavorful. I ended up getting strawberry sorbet, Peruvian chocolate, and Oreo (their top seller). All three were delicious. Joe helped me layer them for ideal enjoyment/bites. I seriously feel like I couldn’t go wrong with their flavors. My wife got a completely different selection to hit her tastes, and she loved hers too. I believe she had the Rocher, and chocolate chip cookie dough. Delicious. Taro, vanilla bean brownie Carmel, almond chocolate, mint, pistachio, s’mores, lemon, horchata, coconut chip…insane and broad flavors!!
They also have coffee, pastries (coming soon) açaí bowls, shakes, sundaes, Belgium waffles, ice cream sandwiches! You can get single $5.50, double $6.50, or triple $7.50 scoop ice cream. They also have pints 3 for $30, or $12 each.
The overall feel and design esthetic was awesome. Clean, modern, bright…I wish they could interior design our house. It’s very welcoming and visually pleasing jn there. Plenty of outdoor tables and indoor. Quick service.

I’m pleasantly surprised that they moved over from their old location, definitely closer to the higher foot traffic. It’s quite cozy and nice inside, a few tables and a couple chairs to enjoy your dessert or coffee.
Not sure if their freezers need to be calibrated or not, but my ice cream was pretty melty when they handed it to me. The flavors were still amazing, but I could’ve ordered a shake instead.

We come here weekly for ice cream and coffee on weekends. Ice cream is delicious! Very flavorful but not overly sweet. My favorite flavor is the Stracciatella or cookie butter, but they are all good. Seasonal eggnog ice cream is our favorite. Coffee is absolute perfection. Cortado and Latte are especially good. Handcrafted drinks, made with love. The owner is super nice, always takes time to talk to my son and I. This place is a gem, and it is run by genuinely kind and good people. The outdoor seating is also a prefect way to relax with your yummy ice cream or perfectly frothed coffee.
