I had the taco salad. It was a great portion size but I found the seasoning on the ground beef not to my taste. It didn’t have that authentic Mexican seasoning taste for me, but it was still satisfying. The bar itself is big and roomy and loads if Wisconsin memorabilia on the walls, so that is pretty fun to see! Wait staff was great!

We had such great service here. There is a lot of food to choose from. We ordered the veggie pizza, chicken pesto mac and a kids burger. At first bite it was pretty good but after that it quickly became food I wished I didn’t have to eat. I’m sure others would like it but it just wasn’t for me. The cheese is very thick and the toppings were underwhelming. The chicken pesto was very rich. I think it would be better as a small side but as an entire meal it was just too heavy. My kid loved the burger. The side salad is just lettuce and cheese. They have really good balsamic dressing. The atmosphere reminds me of an Applebee’s. I should have ordered a burger.

We stopped by Monk’s on a Monday night just to grab a local beer and a little something to snack on — and ended up staying for 2 hours!
We ordered the cheese curds with marinara sauce, the deluxe nachos, and a couple of beers. Everything was absolutely delicious — like, crazy good.

We couldn’t decide on which beer to get at first, so they brought us a flight of 3 local favorites to sample — for free! That was such a nice touch. The staff was super friendly and helpful, giving great recommendations from the menu.

It wasn’t too crowded since it was a Monday, with most people hanging out at the bar. There were TVs playing sports, and the vibe was casual, fun, and bright — really cool decor too.

Our total bill (with tip) came to just $53 for two people, which felt like a steal for the quality and experience. Definitely recommend this place!

Stopped here after one of hockey tournament games and they were able to accommodate our large group. I only had the French onion soup but it was good. Service was organized and quick for such a large group.

Went to Monks to catch an Olympic Hockey game. Vibes were very chill, but I expect this place to be poppin for Badgers/Packers games. Plenty of TVs throughout the bar to catch the action.

Absolutely loved the chicken wrap and chips- probably the best one I’ve had! The spinach artichoke dip didn’t have much flavor. The cheeseburger and sweet potato fries were also amazing! The turkey club & FF were so so good too. Definitely ordering again!

Food was not good. Expectations were not high given it’s just bar food. We had a team dinner there and pretty much everyone(kids and parents) did not like their food. Some couldn’t even eat their meal it was so bad. Would not recommend this places

Our first time there with friends had lunch my smash burger was dry and way overcooked the patty looked like a McDonald’s patty. Also had the pretzel bites not warm no salt on then at all and very dry beer cheese sauce. I had to pull it out by a fork. It was so thick. Two others had crispy chicken very dry and the other had a wrap which he said was good. I don’t think we’ll be returning very disappointed, except for the staff. They were great food not so much.
