I have to say. Customer service was awesome. Shay was very awesome. Bathroom is clean. Food is awesome. Popeye’s Chicken is the Boom boom the Best. Stop by and bring your whole family, or friend’s. You won’t be disappointed. Update. I came back today and everything is still great. Terry who is the manager plus his whole crew including Shea are awesome. Great atmosphere to sit down and relax and have a reasonable meal. Customer service is awesome bathrooms are clean. I recommend you come there and get a great meal and a great reasonable price. Here are a few pictures that I captured today with permission. Terry the manager. Everything is clean and sanitized. You need to stop in and say hello. Hey it’s going to be my weekly stop for a meal. Thank you to Terry and his whole staff.

Today I arrived at Popeyes just before it was scheduled to open.

I waited in the parking lot until 10:02 am.
I then drove up to the drive thru speaker. I waited there for about 2 minutes. No one responded. I then drove up to the pick up window where I waited a few more minutes. I could see people moving about, seemingly setting up for the day. there was a worker who moved back and forth from the window a few times and on her 3rd or 4th time near the window she opened it and greeted me and apologized that they were just opening. a minute ot so later she returned to take my order. she gave me my drink and asked me to pull forward and told me someone would be out with my meal. I imagined there was a car behind me why she’d asked me to move, but there wasn’t one. I went inside to adjust something with my beverage. I noticed there wasn’t chicken available on the trays and I heard that chicken would be ready in about 5 minutes.

I became even more frustrated as it was now about quarter past 10 and I had a 1030 appointment in another town for which I would be late. The staff seemed friendly and attentive when I waited for my food and updated me on the wait time. I was even given a little something extra for my inconvenience. I appreciated that gesture.

I took my freshly friend chicken to my vehicle and while I was excited for freshly fried food, it was a bit too hot for my likings. I used some napkins to tear my breast apart to help it to cool faster, as opposed to just biting into it. i was utterly appaled to see that my chicken was raw on the inside. it wasn’t merely underdone. but it was actually RAW!

I PROMPTLY returned to the store and requested a refund. The cook took a look at the undercooked chicken and and casually mentioned that it was because the peice was “big”.

I was offered a replacement and/or a refry but I was no longer interested and I was already late. I’d been at the property for about half an hour when I’d only budgeted several minutes for my stop.

My warning to you…. check your chicken for doneness before digging in! Foodborne illnesses are real!

This Popeye’s location is under new management and has improved tremendously.
I loved the chicken, cooked just right; the sides and biscuits were great too.
Service was quick and efficient, unlike during some prior visits, whilst it was under the previous management team. Overall, a really good and delicious experience!

Again I live in Sebastian and to purchase food and have the wrong order is ridiculous. The received a regular mashed potatoes and gravy and a regular fry. When did things change that much. I ordered large mashed potatoes and large fry. $6.99 each for this small item. It sad to spend so much money for little product. Trying to add the photo

Drove all the way from Sebastian because I had a craving for spicy chicken. Ordered a family meal with mixed chicken (half spicy and half mild). Got back home with the chicken being half and half, but only had 1 mild wing, 6 thighs, 1 drumstick, 2 breast. I wasn’t told that they were low on chicken and did I still want the family meal. No other options were given to me. So I give my experience a 2. The coleslaw was half full.

I waited over 30 minutes for a 10-piece spicy chicken meal, and it was not worth it. The lobby floors were sticky with every step, and the staff walked past customers without acknowledging anyone. Horrible service, terrible atmosphere, and the food didn’t even live up to the wait. Completely unacceptable experience.

Blackened tenders….it’s not a commonly ordered item so generally I have to wait for them, not a big deal, worth the wait. Mmmm…not only were they out faster than normal but fried perfectly. If you haven’t had tenders blackened from Popeyes you are missing out. Bring your patience though, they are made to order!!

Disappointed, no apology just attitude.

We placed an online order for 11:50 a.m. and arrived around 12:10 p.m. (a little late, which we understand is on us). However, when we got there, the food still wasn’t ready. The staff said they had to locate our order and asked us to pull forward. After waiting another 20 minutes, my wife went inside around 12:30 p.m. to check what was going on.

While she was waiting for the manager, someone finally brought out the food. When the manager came out, instead of offering an apology or explanation, she was rude and immediately blamed us for being late and said they were short-staffed. My wife wasn’t looking for an argument — just a simple apology or a bit of understanding about why it took so long.

I’ve worked in fast food for over 10 years and completely understand that things happen, especially when short-staffed. But customer service and attitude make a huge difference. The lack of professionalism from the manager made the whole experience much worse.

A great place for a real chicken sandwich or a great biscuit
This location is on the east side of US-1 just south of the 17th Street bridge and in front of the Goodwill store. We have had good luck with other Popeye’s restaurants and decided to try this one. It has dine-in and drive-thru options. There is limited parking outside the building but there is additional parking with associated businesses. There are entrances on the north and south sides of the site. There is a counter with a menu screen behind it and 2 registers to place your order. When we arrived, there was only one person taking orders and processing orders. This meant that each order was taking the order and filling the order before taking the next order. This resulted in a wait for ordering. It took about 10 minutes to order with only one person in front of us. The staff was friendly. The food came out quickly once we got a chance to order at the counter. The eating area is a combination of booths and tables. Many were clean but some were not cleaned the entire time we were there. The food was delicious. The spicy sandwich has some heat. The biscuits are the best. The prices are reasonable. If you are comfortable with waiting to order and want some great food, then this is a good place for you to eat.
