So good we had to go twice in the 3 days we were visiting Burlington. The perfect meal for nursing a hangover. The Monte Madame and pumpkin spice coffee was exactly what I needed. The second time was the eggs Benny and their pumpkin spice martini. Yes, I have a problem and yes, it’s pumpkin related. Great, attentive staff and fun decor created a fantastic experience.

I had the hash quiche, which was two mini quiches but the crust was hash browns. I’m going to be thinking about/craving them for a looooong time. Prices were shockingly reasonable for a “trendy” type brunch place. The food and service were also fast despite going in the middle of a holiday brunch rush. The fruit salad was fresh and good in the dead of winter and the toast came pre buttered?? Which was fantastic.
Our server Maya is my friend, I’ll admit, but she’s also just a really good server. We were sat next to the server station and I could tell all of the staff were super efficient and friendly. Maya was somehow totally on top of it but didn’t seem harried or rushed.
If this is your thing- it’s not mine- they have a TON of breakfast drinks as well.
Overall a place with a large creative menu, trendy vibe, and good experience.

Food was so delicious, service was excellent and the atmosphere is great. Truly a place you have to visit multiple times in order to try all there wonderful options. My wife and I split the boozy coffee flight and a cold brew gingersnap latte and they were so delicious. The Monte Madame was exquisite and has set the new standard for breakfast food. My wife got the eggs Benedict and loved ever bite. The churro bites were delicious as an appetizer and dipping the churros in the jalapeno & raspberry jam was great not spicy at all.

We visit for brunch every time we are in town. Always good, but PLEASE PLEASE bring back the beautifully plated savory chicken and waffles. It was always genius — the best thing on the menu. The new skillet bowl version lacks the presentation vibrancy and wow factor, and simply doesn’t bring the same “feature menu item” appeal and robust flavor combinations that the savory chicken and waffles has always brought. Thanks!!!

I got the chicken and waffle and the wifey got the American breakfast with French toast.
I like to taste the French toast everywhere I go, but the chicken and waffle called me that day…both did not disappoint…
My wife and I usually share, to try something different, this time she only gave me two bites of the French toast, she liked it that much…
The table tumeric sauce was very good…I threw that on my chicken and it was a welcome addition…

Great food. Our french toast was a bit hard, breakfast tacos were a bit dry. Friendly staff and interesting atmosphere. With love, from Louisiana and Florida.

The food was unlike anything I’ve ever had and unbelievably delicious. They put a nice modern twist on classic dishes to bring their own style. I got to enjoy the breakfast egg rolls and Cuban Benedict, perfectly paired with their house-made sauce. The restaurant is also bright, inviting and a little wacky with their decor. The staff were attentive and friendly even when they were obviously quite busy. As a walk in I was sat, served quickly, and never felt like I was left waiting for anything.

This was the first time I have eaten here. It was awesome! I had the blueberry waffle with homemade berry compote. It was so delicious! The waitress was great and very attentive. She was friendly and seemed to go above and beyond to be sure we had everything we needed. It is definitely a place I would recommend and go to again!

Eclectic decor and feel but with a nice homelike breakfast/brunch diner vibe too. Service was friendly to the nines and truly welcoming. Enormous, unique, and varied menu options with so many taste and fascinating options that the toughest thing for me was making a decision on one thing.. so I chose 3 knowing full well that I couldn’t come close to eating all of it. That was a great call and totally worth it to taste my different picks from their many options. I enjoyed every last bite of the food I tested and ate 🙂

This is a brunch place with a fun retro vibe (M-F 7:30am – 2:30pm and Sa Su 7:30am – 4pm). We’ve seen the long wait lines on weekends and were nearby on a Monday morning so we decided to try it. Service was fast and prompt (it may be different on a jam packed weekend). They have a number of tables inside. We thoroughly enjoyed this delicious breakfast food. I ordered the Monster Breakfast: 2 pancakes or French toast, 2 eggs made to order, choice of breakfast meat, home fries & real maple syrup. I added a side order of sour dough toast. I knew I wasn’t going to finish it but knew my group would share the pancakes. We also tried the churro bites and side of fruit salad. And a classic breakfast: 2 eggs any style, choice of breakfast meat, home fries and sour dough toast. Overeasy eggs were cooked perfectly. 3 slices of thick cut lean bacon with excellent flavor cooked perfectly. The 2 slices of ham were superb. Pancakes were light and fluffy. The real maple syrup was served in mini bottles custom made for Friendly Toast – the waitress even offered for me to take my 2nd mini bottle home because I had only used 1 bottle. The toast was lightly toasted but not very sourdough-y tasting and 2 small half slices – for $3 side, I would have expected 4 small half slices – maybe it’s from a special bakery but it wasn’t listed like that. The coffee was good but standard and they did not offer a refill. The home fries were not great – they were neither crispy nor flavorful. We didn’t finish the churros – we should have read the menu closer as it is paired with “spicy strawberry habanero jam” – creative? yes, tasty? no. We thought we were having a food allergy because we couldn’t figure out the tingling in our mouths. Our fault – we didn’t read the menu carefully and this just wasn’t for us. The fruit salad was mostly melon hidden underneath a top layer of a strawberry cut in half and a handful of blueberries – not worth $6 side. Prices are reasonable except the sides as noted. Overall, this is a great brunch spot with a fun character.
