Service is important but not to the point of hovering or being rushed. The food was good . And no one should complain about having attentive service my reccomendation is balance.

Real shame I am having to do this review. We have been in many times and had exceptional service and good food. This time we ordered a take out. Got the food home and a fly in the zinger mac and cheese. Went down to complain, well the duty manager was a waste of space. said they check it three times, no way did they, otherwise they would of seen it. Stevie Wonder would of done a better job of seeing it. Then he started saying pest controllers come in every month, I then explained that doesn’t matter, you have an open bar, doors opening all the time, flys can get in. He did not deal with this very well at all. He should not be dealing with customers, even a member of staff mentioned to me he should of dealt with that better. Oh yeah he even said it was a Friday so we are busy. Should not matter which day of the week it is. Needs to go on a customer service training course.

Wonderful food and very attentive staff. We were there today with a group of 20 people and everything was very well done. The dishes are well served, the meats are succulent, the drinks are promptly refilled and the bar has a wide variety of drinks. The atmosphere is very good, the bathrooms are clean. We ordered: Salmon, Cobb Salad, Filet Mignon, Chicken Parmigiana with Alfredo pasta and shrimp – everything was impeccable.

Todd is by far the worst manager I have ever encountered at this location. I’ve been a loyal customer for several years, but since he became manager, the experience has completely gone downhill. His attitude is dismissive, unprofessional, and openly hostile toward customers.

Instead of resolving issues or showing basic courtesy, he creates tension and makes customers feel unwelcome. It’s honestly shocking that someone with this behavior was put into a management role. Whatever changed here, it wasn’t for the better.

Because of Todd, I will not be returning to this location, and I’ve already warned friends and family to avoid it as well. Management like this drives away loyal customers. This is not a one-time bad day — this is a pattern.

Corporate should seriously reevaluate who they allow to represent their brand.

I usually love Miller’s Ale House and dine in here almost every week, but this was my first time ordering takeout — and I’m honestly really disappointed. The portion of fries I received was shockingly small. When I dine in, the portions are always generous, but this was nowhere near the same quality or amount.

If takeout customers are getting smaller portions, that’s really unfair and not what I expect from a place I regularly support. I hope this was just a mistake, but it definitely left a bad impression.

Stopped in to try the Slow-Roasted Prime Rib French Dip. The meat itself was tasty and I really enjoyed the fries, but the sandwich was a bit of a challenge since the bread got pretty soggy and fell apart. The Au jus was definitely on the saltier side, and the housemade horsey sauce didn’t really have much flavor going on. Not a bad meal, but it could use a little more care in the execution.

Miller’s Ale House is the perfect place to meet up with fellow notaries for check-ins on best practices. On a cold and hard day, I was craving some comforting food, and Miller’s delivered! I had the most delicious, fresh, and gigantic pretzel, which was absolutely perfect for dipping. Along with that, I enjoyed their spicy chicken soup, which was flavorful and just the right amount of warmth to brighten the day.

The atmosphere is always welcoming, making it a great spot for both casual meetings and satisfying comfort food. Whether you’re meeting colleagues or just in need of a comforting meal, Miller’s Ale House is a reliable choice every time!

Let’s be honest — I don’t go to Miller’s Ale House for the wings.

I go for the Zingers. And if you know, you know.

Miller’s is that comfort American spot you order when there’s a big game on, nobody knows what they want, and takeout just makes sense. The Zingers Mountain Melt is the move — crispy chicken tenders, melted cheese, applewood smoked bacon, and a mountain of those seasoned fries that just hit every time.

Now let’s talk sides.

The mozzarella sticks? Top tier. Golden, gooey, cheese-pull perfection.

The wings? Solid and dependable. Good size, sauced well, crispy enough to hold their own. They’re not the star of the show — but they’re a strong supporting cast member next to the legends on the plate.

Zingers Mountain Melt + mozzarella sticks + wings for the table = game day done right.

Miller’s isn’t trying to reinvent chicken. They’re serving comfort — and sometimes that’s exactly what you need.

During our visit to Ale House in Independence, Horizon West, We had the pleasure of being served by Kori, and the experience was nothing short of amazing. Her warm and welcoming demeanor immediately set the tone for a great evening. Kori’s attentiveness and professionalism stood out, as she made sure every detail of our dining experience was perfect. She anticipated our needs, provided excellent menu recommendations, and always had a genuine smile on her face.
