Ordered a falafel salad with a pita bread on the side. The place is spacious and seemed clean. The cashier was your typical, entitled Gen-Z kid who lacked basic social skills, however, I’m judging the food.

The food here is delicious! The roasted eggplant was my favorite, and the portions are generous—even the kids’ meals are quite big. The hummus with pita chips was excellent, and we had fun trying the different lemonade flavors. The only downside was that the beef and lamb shawarma tasted a bit too salty. Overall, the staff were very friendly and patient, taking the time to explain the ingredients and answer all our questions.

Is the couscous supposed to be bone dry? Because everything else was tasty and flavorful. But the whole bowl was ruined by how dry the couscous was. I included a pic so maybe someone from the restaurant can explain what happened, because I don’t understand how you can serve dry couscous and expect your bowls to taste good.

Stopped by Hummus Republic and honestly didn’t expect it to hit this hard. Everything tasted fresh, portions were filling, and the flavors were on point. Great spot if you want something that feels healthy but still super satisfying. Definitely coming back.

extremely generous portions and fresh ingredients at Hummus Republic. honestly i always get the same thing but it never disappoints – lemon chicken is tasty and the garlic jalapeño tahini is a little spicy so it’s a nice touch. the bowl is huge and stuffed to the brim every time – it lasts me for basically two meals and it’s affordable considering how much food you get (about $15 depending if you add any extras). they also have self-service lemonade – the pomegranate and mango lemonade mix is delicious!

Had a great experience at Hummus Republic – North Brunswick. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and fully customizable. We tried the chicken shawarma wrap, lemon chicken bowl (a must try!), and the beef & lamb gyro pita—each dish was delicious and packed with flavor. Loved the variety of proteins, bases, toppings, dressings, and even drink refresher options. The food quality and portion sizes were excellent. Highly recommend for a quick, fresh Mediterranean meal, and they also offer catering which is a plus!

As others mentioned, food was really good but the cous cous ruined the bowl for me. The cous cous was very dry and lacked flavor. However, veggies were fresh, the falafel was crispy, and the sauces were tasty. Mango lemonade was ok. First time trying and I would go back with hopes that the cous cous has been fixed.

Quick bite today before some shopping. Had the Street Style Sweet Potatoe Fries: sweet pitatoe fries, red cabbage, fried eggplant, olives, fried jalapeño, chickpea croutons, crumbled feta, Tahini dressing. Delicious! Large portion kept me full and satisfied!
