We went to Bob Evans for a family dinner together on Valentine’s Day. We were seated properly, but after we were seated, the waitress did not come over and ask us for drinks or anything for at least 15 to 20 minutes. And when we did receive our food Which took considerable time, the food was dried out and overdone. Apparently, the waitress did not like the women in my group yet. Nothing was done to her to act that way.n We were very dissatisfied and we paid a $100 or more for our meal. We are very dissatisfied and we’ll never go there again.And we’ll keep all our family from going there ever again

for a first-time visit. I ordered the fried steak Bell’s Plate Diner, a solid choice! The meal came with green beans, mashed potatoes, and a slice of banana nut bread on the side. Everything was cooked just right, with the green beans and mashed potatoes adding a nice homestyle feel. The banana nut bread was a sweet touch to finish the meal. Staff was super friendly, making the experience warm and welcoming. Ample parking made it hassle-free to drop by. If you’re looking for a cozy, hearty meal, I’d recommend giving this place a try!

The restaurant was quite dirty, most tables had layers of crumb and garbage under them. Our table had used straws, plastic cups and a fork on the floor. The women’s bathroom was completely trashed, can’t imagine when it was cleaned last. The food was good though and despite them being severely understaffed, our waitress was hustling hard and attentive. She 100% needs a raise for being alone and handling every table.

Went to Bob Evans 1/31 at 1:30pm. Our server Toni, was friendly and efficient. She delivered our mini sampler breakfast and griddle stacker timely and they were both delicious! If you’re hankering for some homemade tasting food, this is the place!!

Been awhile since last visit to Bob Evans pre covid days. Ann Arbor closed location on AA Saline Road, so first time to Carpenter road for late lunch around 3pm. It doesn’t look like much from the outside, but to our surprise, the inside was pretty roomy and inviting.
5 stars for customer service! Our waiter was very attentive and friendly! I didn’t have a copy of my receipt, so I don’t remember his name. Sorry!
4/5 stars for food…was wanting grits but only served in the mornings. Keep that in mind to get it before 2pm, maybe even earlier than that… not fresh after lunch, so they don’t serve it. Ordered the blue ribbon maple bacon, but it didn’t look crispy like the picture …floppy bacon but taste still there.
The chicken fried steak + eggs and the chicken fried steak dinner were both great! Also ordered southwest avocado omelet which was also good. The banana bread was excellent!
Definitely would go back to explore more of the menu. Forgot how good the food can be there…if you’re looking for a good all American meal, then check out Bob Evans.

I’ve been here once before and the servers have all been unfriendly. Noone speaks and act as though it is an inconvenience to serve a black person. I know there may be a stereotype regarding African Americans (I was a server for 6 yrs I know this business industry well) but the behavior of your servers and apparently the GM(Tall white male dark hair grey shirt) is unacceptable.Today you looked at me standing waiting to be seated three times. Even going into the back and coming back out and started wiping down the grill line. Was that more important than acknowledging a customer? Your hostess didn’t greet, me just took me to my table. You soft skills are abysmal and need substantial improvement. Do better.

Neat spot for an all American breakfast. Whatever you order from here is guaranteed to fill you up. Lots of options to pick from. The restaurant’s got a very cute authentic barn feel to it too, though the food did feel a little commercial. The banana bread loaf on sale at the entrance for $4.99 was a real treat though, had to pick myself up one.

In this particular Bob Evans, sometimes the services spot on other times it’s off food usually is pretty good. They sometimes forget to bring this stuff that you order. I hear All The Time. The food is good.

Never had a problem with this restaurant. Food is consistantly good, same with the service. Plenty of different options. Meal, coffee and tip came out to a bit over 20.
