The wait staff were so friendly and didn’t mind spending a few moments at their table when checking on customers.
Highly recommend if you are looking for a good and filling meal.
Updating to include food.
Cold chickichanga and burned potatoes.
After sharing my concerns about my initial visit, I was pleasantly surprised by the prompt and thoughtful response from Mr. Guzman. He reached out to address my feedback, listened carefully to my concerns, and generously offered gift cards for a return visit to any First Watch location. I decided to use them on my birthday, which turned out to be a fantastic decision! I even got to enjoy their birthday special: buy one entrée, get one half off.
I visited the 81st Street location in Tulsa and this time, everything was excellent. The service was attentive, and the food was delicious. For starters, we enjoyed coffee, water, and the festive “Red Medicine” drinks from their holiday menu. Our party of four ordered a variety of dishes, including the Trifecta, the Chorizo Omelette, the Traditional Breakfast with chicken sausage, and plenty of bacon. To top it all off, I added a Carrot Cake & Pecan Pancake for a touch of flair—it did not disappoint!
This visit completely changed my perspective on First Watch. The team went above and beyond to make things right, and I genuinely appreciated their effort. It turned out to be a memorable birthday brunch, and I’m looking forward to visiting again. Thank you, First Watch!

I have to say, First Watch hasn’t been the same since they took over from The Egg & I. The new focus on healthy eating is fine if that’s what you’re into, but it feels like they’ve forgotten to balance portion size and value with their price. Sure, it’s great to have the option to eat healthier, but at the end of the day, it should be your choice how you eat. What really stands out here is the lack of value for what they charge. The portions are small, and for the price, you could easily make the same meal at home, and likely better. Even when you specify how you want your meal prepared, it often comes out the way they think it should be, not how you asked.
If you’re looking for a place to get your money’s worth, this isn’t it. It’s like going to a hotel where they serve a basic breakfast in a big lobby—decent enough, but certainly not worth the price they ask for it. If you’re after bigger portions and better value, you’d be better off heading to a local spot like Snooty Pig. The atmosphere there is friendlier, and the portions are more reasonable. It’s a shame, because when it was The Egg & I, they had a much larger customer base. Now, with First Watch, you’re just paying a premium for less food.
Bottom line, unless you don’t feel like cooking at home, I’d suggest giving this place a pass.
