The food itself actually tasted good, the shrimp and mussels were flavorful when served. However, the overall experience was very disappointing.
I came in with a Groupon that still showed as valid in the app but the restaurant initially refused to honor it. After a long back-and-forth with the owner I was only given 50% off for “fairness,” which made an already awkward situation uncomfortable and embarrassing as a customer.
Unfortunately the bigger issue came after. A few hours later (around 3 AM) I became extremely sick and was vomiting repeatedly and could not keep fluids down. Whether it was food handling or just a bad batch of seafood I can’t say for certain, but it made the night miserable and concerning.
I’m not writing this to be dramatic, the food tasted fine but between the coupon dispute and getting that sick afterward, I can’t recommend the experience.

This is my second time going to this place and i was absolutely disappointed! My experience was very disappointing from start to finish. The food was extremely distasteful and lacked flavor. For the prices being charged, I expected much better quality and presentation. The portions and taste did not match the cost at all.
The service made the situation worse. Our waitress seemed distracted and was not fully engaged with our table. We felt overlooked and unclear about the ordering process. There was little communication, and we were left confused about what was happening with our food.
When I spoke to the manager about our concerns, all she could say was “I apologize.” There was no attempt at compensation or any real effort to make the experience better. Although she did eventually clean the table and bring us a bucket, napkins, and plasticware, those were items that should have already been provided from the beginning. We should not have had to ask for basic necessities.
Overall, between the overpriced food, poor quality, lack of attentiveness, and minimal resolution from management, I would not recommend this establishment. The booth we sat in the cushion was cut (damaged). The phone service was bad also, there wasn’t any WiFi.

Came to visit here from out of state & this place exceeded expectations. Called before arrival to ask about All You Can Eat Crabs and was informed that it is “first come first serve”. When I arrived it was no longer available for Maryland crabs but by the dozen was available and that was perfectly fine! The food came out In a timely manner. All of the crabs were full of meat and juicy. I would recommend this place to all who ask. If you’re looking for all you can eat call first.

All you eat crab really nice size crab. Highly seasoned, hubby loved it. A little too much for me. Service was good and waiter was attentive. Atmosphere was ok. Will probably be back for the crabs!

Amber is the best! I’ve been here twice, both times with large parties of at least 15 people. Amber didn’t miss a beat. The AYCE crabs are good for the price. The wings are good and the twister fries are perfect. They have a great loyalty program where points can be redeemed for free food, including crabs.

This place is a Hidden Gem for seafood and Delicious platters I took My Son for lunch..He had the kids tender meal,we had a 1/2lb shrimp(we ate before I took a pic ♀️), lobster Mac n cheese and I got the Honey Salmon.I ordered the Gator and Mermaid drink.. Everything was Seasoned well and decent portions.The bill was reasonable as well.I will definitely be returning.My server was Ann

We ordered all you can eat crabs and fries while waiting for the crabs, the cost was $50 a person ‘not bad’ the crabs were kinda light so we had Alot of cracking yada yada, the few mins were with the waiter was fine, he bought 4 trays of crabs, after getting the bill I was going to add up my tip then realize they added the tip in automatically which it is posted on the wall by the table which I didn’t read until one of my grandsons pointed it out, TVs had the Ravens game on so my grandsons were happy, that’s all that really mattered so all in all it was a great day the crabs had good seasoning, butter and vinegar

Crabtastic Feast at Maryland Blue Crab House!
Just had a delightful carryout meal at Maryland Blue Crab House and had to rave about it! The star of the show, of course, were the crabs. They were absolutely scrumptious meaty- fresh, perfectly cooked, and bursting with flavor. The young man at the front desk was very professional and helpful.
I also have to give a shoutout to the fried shrimp. Often you get fried seafood that’s all batter and no bite, but here the shrimp were the perfect balance. Crispy on the outside, juicy and delicious on the inside, with a light breading that didn’t overpower the delicate flavor.
The sides were no afterthought either. The baked beans and rice were fantastic – perfectly seasoned with little pops of flavor from the sausage slices. It all came together for a truly satisfying meal.
Overall, Maryland Blue Crab House gets a big thumbs up from me! Highly recommend it for anyone looking for delicious seafood in a casual setting.

I wanted some crabs and when I use to live in the area the crabs here were good. I even sat in for the all you can eat crabs and they were decent. I hadn’t been to this spot in over a year, but when my new crab place was closed thought I would order from here. I was traveling over a half hour away. I ordered XL crabs and they were small. They also tasted like they had been reheated and I could tell they weren’t freshly cooked. This was truly a waste of money and time.
Update Response: In response to the business stating these were Extra Large which were almost $100 they were not the normal size that I’ve previous purchases from you all. That’s what I’m basing it off. Also, I’m born and raised in Maryland, Baltimore to be exact, and these crabs were not freshly made at all. I’m not doubting your normal procedures but these were reheated crabs the taste alone confirmed that. I called and spoke with a manager at which time she apologized. I didn’t ask for anything or want my money back just wanted to give feedback. Either way you all lost a customer and I’ve been getting amazing extra large/fresh crabs from Blake’s (the single crab was a freshly made crab from Blake’s)
