After being greeted and shown to our table promptly, we were offered water and ordered drinks. The drinks came quickly and we ordered our food. The starters arrived in good time. We all had the French Onion soup which was delicious. There was then a long delay before our mains arrived, at least 30 mins. No apology from the waitress. The seabass was tasty and the steaks were cooked as requested. Desserts arrived on good time and were very nice. Overall, an enjoyable meal.

We visited today using a gift voucher and had an amazing experience. The food was outstanding — the French toast was an easy 10/10. The manager was friendly and accommodating (I didn’t catch his name), which really added to the experience. Highly recommend for both food quality and service. We’ll definitely be returning!

Had a birthday meal here and what a lovely restaurant this is. The food was stunning, full of flavour and the service was exceptional. Benz was polite, helpful, knowledgeable and after watching him while he was serving other tables, had a level of friendly banter for us all. He certainly made the evening that little bit more special, evening singing happy birthday…..
This is one restaurant we’ll go back to when in Winchester again.
Highly recommend a visit if you’re in the area.

We had a Sunday brunch here and from the start it was a little chaotic. We didn’t have everything we needed on the table and the waitress don’t really seem on top of everything. The tea pots were only half filled up but they did supply additional pots of hot water. The restaurant wasn’t particularly busy considering it was a Sunday when the xmas market was taking place. The food was good although presentation could be improved. I’d eaten the day before at the Ivy and there is just no comparison sorry.

Lovely food and great service. Asked for a medium steak and got a perfect medium. French onion soup always delicious! And 5 stars for the team’s handling of some “problem customers” too. Will definitely be back (unlimited chips and peppercorn sauce, who wouldn’t!? )

Had a really lovely family meal here yesterday. From arrival the staff were so friendly and attentive. I arrived early with my 1-year old son and the waiter helped me carry the pushchair upstairs, also pointing out the accessible door we could use to exit later. All staff were so friendly with my son, giving him attention whenever they passed and keeping him happy at the table. Kids menu is great and his food came really quickly. We had the set menu offer and it was all so delicious! Would definitely recommend and will be going back.
