We’ve been going here for years for the walleye dinners during lent. In the past the walleye had a very light, faint fishy taste. It was excellent tasting. Last week on Friday the walleye had a very very strong fishy taste. We thought we would give it one more chance. This Friday not only did walleye that strong fishy taste, the breading on the fish was over a half inch thick and full of grease. It was disgusting. I think I threw away about a pound of breading. The breading on the fish used to be very light and great tasting. I don’t know what happened to their walleye but we are done with it. I really hope they can fix this problem but for now we will go somewhere else for Friday fish fry.

2026-Jan-5 — A note for new users: Drinks/Desserts are not placed in the bags like McDonalds does. I learned this during my stay. After placing my order, Mustafa returned with two large bags. He asked if everything on the receipt looked correct, handed me the two large bags, I handed him the number card, and then I left on my merry way. The receipt was correct, but they forgot to give me the three concrete ice creams, as none of them were in the bags. I drove back and Sarah had informed me they had thrown the concrete in the trash and new ones had to be made. Aside from this issue, the building looked nice and clean while I waited. Ambience wasn’t loud. The food was fine. Parking was easy to find. Overall, a nice looking location.

Culver’s always the best
I’ve been to this location a few times. My experiences so far have been great. The restaurant is always clean and welcoming. The staff are always friendly and hospitable. The food taste and looks great. The prices are fair and quality of the food is solid. I recommend everyone coming here.

I like to review fairly, but it’s tough to give this Culver’s less than 5 stars. The menu is robust, the food is good, and the staff is friendly (that’s a big one for me). Their custard beats any other fast food ice cream by a mile and I would encourage folks to try some of their other menu items, like the fried shrimp. Round it all out with great side selections, kids meals, and fair prices and you’ve got a no brainer. They can get very busy at dinner so I recommend ordering ahead via their app whether you plan to take out or dinner in.

My family and I love Culver’s, the food is always good, it’s always hot, and it’s typically ready whenever we get there using our mobile app. The chili is really good. My sister is a huge fan of the chili cheese fries. She will eat a whole family size over two days . Yes she is a monster lol. I always love the sourdough burger with the grilled onions. I typically get a double and crinkle cut fries when I go. I will also opt for their frozen custard with vanilla and caramel. Their fresh custard is to die for. This location is typically speedy and accurate. I can’t recall a time that we had a major issue any order for that matter. If you need a quick bite, but want something higher quality than McDonald’s or Jack-in-the-Box located directly across the street either south or east, go ahead and aim for Culver’s. You won’t be disappointed.

Today I’m at Culver’s in Peoria on a strict budget decided to stop here get some french fries I new here and thought this is their one chance to get a customer for me so I ordered a small fry you pay for it and they send you to the next spot you’re assuming you’re getting your food made fresh and let me just say on a sidenote that I asked for fry sauce and they charged for it but back to the quality of the food when I received my small fry. It was not a full order and it was cold. It seemed like all I got was the crumbs if you know what I mean, like the bottom of the fries with the hard pieces, it was very disappointed. Where I’m from they didn’t have a Culver’s so I was excited to try it and I will never come here again. I was really disappointed and if you guys follow me, you know that I love doing good reviews, but this is not one of them. Also, you would think that considering the french fries was all I ordered that they could do a little better with giving me something to eat. I can see now why there’s not very many people at this location when I drive-by.

We tried Culver’s in Surprise, AZ for the first time yesterday and liked it so much we wanted to get it again today! The staff in the Peoria location were just as attentive and friendly.
We LOVED the Cheese Curds so we had to get a larger size this time. We split a Butter Burger which was delicious as well. We also tried the Pretzel Bites which were ok, but it was good because it came with cheese we could dip our curds in.

We have been to other locations of Culver’s before and enjoy their hamburgers. The restaurant was very clean. Service from the staff was excellent. This time I tried a frozen custard and really enjoyed it! Healthier than ice cream. This was blackberry crumble flavoured.

It’s a 50/50 chance at this Culver’s, whether your food will be handled/assembled with care.
Quality and presentation shouldn’t suffer so severely as a result of speed. Accuracy before acceleration is the way to go.
