Behind an unassuming store front, kinda hard to see from the street, there’s some of the best, authentic Mexican food in Memphis. Probably the best downtown.
The place is slightly bigger than what it looks like – it’s actually two stories tall, and there’s seating in both. Service is rather quick, even during the lunchtime rush.
The caldo is spectacular, and the tacos ain’t far behind. Great for lunch or dinner.

No wonder this place has great reviews. The staff are so nice and welcoming and the food is incredible. Small place on the main drag of Memphis, I believe this is their second location. We were walking by and saw a constant flow of people grabbing food here so we gave it a shot. The street tacos were great and loved the sauce that came with. Got the quesadilla to share and that is more than enough food for one or even two. You order at the counter can dine in or take out. Lots of mobile orders coming in too. They also have outdoor seating in the shade. The menu online said they have lengua but it is only available at the other location. Not to worry, Highly recommend this taco place.

Ended up stopping in here due to another place being closed and I am glad we did. Everything we got was fantastic. I loved the hot sauce. I ended up not liking the Tajín but would definitely get the corn again just without. Staff was nice and was welcomed when we walked it. Has an open kitchen and I love that you can see them cook.

We stopped in for lunch. Recommended by an AutoZone employee who heard us debating about where to grab a bite to eat (Thanks guy!!) The food is delicious!! Fast friendly service and a great atmosphere!! Great prices with perfect portions. One of the best Mexican restaurants that I have been to. Definitely on my list of favs!! CHECK THEM OUT!!

Great atmosphere. This restaurant is situated in the main street and sitting by the window on the second floor gives nice views of the main street and the tram line with passing trams/ trolleys.
The food was also good. It was tasty and the portion sizes were good.

I had 3 tacos. They were good. The Birria with cheese was my favorite. The young lady that took my order was very pleasant. I also ordered the chips and guacamole. I will not order that again. I was surprised at the way they served it (see pic). I could have looked past it had it tasted better. The chips were not the best either. Yes, I would go there again.

Great experience! The soup was recommended and it was delicious, the avocado was so good and it was full of chicken. Pastor was a win as was the birria, be sure to get the consumme. The elote wasn’t my favorite but it was okay, full cob. Seating is pretty good and a nice walking location on Main. Highly recommend.

The veggies burrito and the fajita steak tacos were the stars, and it took my partner all of her self-control to not eat the burrito in one sitting. The fajita shrimp taco was good and it needed to be punched up with taco sauce. The slow roasted beef specialty taco was melt in your mouth tender and benefited from being paired with the hottest taco sauce. There’s limited outdoor seating out front, and you order inside.

The taco was my favorite, full of flavor, moist and tender. The vegetarian burrito was also a hit with good flavor and texture. Quesadillas are always a win for me and this one was no exception. The sopa was a bit dry and not as flavorful as the other things we tried. Overall great food, good size portions but a bit pricey.

Wow . Really really good. They are currently using the tables inside to set up to go orders so there isn’t many seats if you want to eat at the restaurant but there are a couple outside . Awesome area to sit outside and enjoy a great meal .
I went with a street and seafood taco selection. I had the spicy fish, spicy shrimp and spicy chicken. Nothing over powering spicy but great flavor. The pork street taco was my least favorite by far.
