We had a positive experience at Melody’s. We sat at the bar which had about a 45 minute wait. I’d suggest making reservations as they get pretty busy. The ladies behind the bar were very polite and checked on us often. They made sure our water was refilled in a timely manner. I ordered the grilled goat cheese. It was very flavorful. The perfect dish for a light lunch. My husband ordered the BBQ brisket sandwich. This was the best brisket sandwich either one of us had ever tasted. The meat was tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. I would recommend this spot if you’re looking for an excuse to get cute, day drink, and eat good food.

This is hands down the BEST brunch place in Central Texas! The food is delicious the drinks are stiff and the staff are friendly. I highly recommend trying it out.

Cute little place but our waitress was awful. Honestly that ruined the experience. There was only 3 of us, we all ordered drinks and food. French toast was good, brisket sandwiches was also good. The potato soup was good but where do I put the big peice of parm cheese cracker to get to the soup? There was no extra plate for it. We needed our bill split 3 ways, she ended up splitting it 2 ways. We fixed it between ourselves, she made it very awkward by just bringing it up a lot to us at the end. She took a while to get us, just very confusing in general. I’m hoping next time it’s not as awkward.

Servers were so sweet. The bartender was amazing. The food, well it was good, but not a 10/10. It looked beautiful, but tasted a bit flat. Probably 7/10.
I had an issue with my food and they corrected it immediately. Mistakes happen in the service industry and they were fast to make it right.
Avocado toast- The sourdough toast was extremely thick and not very toasty. It was really sweet. The avocado was great and the candy pecans were delicious.
Sweet Leige Waffles- the waffle again was very sweet, the orange mascarpone was very good. The eggs were cooked perfectly (how I wanted them) and the bacon was the best!
The DRINKS!
Woodford reserve bourbon espresso martini- didn’t come with the chocolate garnish, but was strong and fantastic.
The clover club – gin lovers will love this. The egg white topping threw me off in the description, but man it was to die for!
Overall, we may go be back for the drinks alone!

Being a foodie from Dallas and Austin, I was thrilled to find this amazing spot of beautiful atmosphere (from the decor to the lovely music—felt like we had just dropped into a New York gem or cafe in Paris), kind and lovely staff, and incredibly delicious food to match! We tried as many things on the menu as possible in one sitting and not one disappointed! The candied bacon alone will bring me back. The attention to every detail-cuisine to aesthetic-makes this hands down the best restaurant in Temple and the surrounding area. Well done, Melody’s! Perfect date spot and yet also family friendly. Potato soup that almost tastes like a chowder you will dream of and entrees that burst with flavors that taste as amazing as they look will bring you back soon. Add unique drinks from the exquisite bar, and this quickly becomes a have to place! Only open 9-2:30 right now, but we can dream that one day dinner may be added on! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Had brunch here today. The food was amazing and the presentation was beautiful. We had the deviled eggs 10/10, the grilled goat cheese 10/10, the French toast 8/10! Absolutely beautiful space and delicious food. Can’t wait to come back.

5 stars for the candied bacon starter alone! So good and an absolutely gorgeous spot with beautiful aesthetic. We loved the chicken and waffles as well and their croissant in the chicken waffle salad was delicious and so fresh. Would recommend them add more dairy free options alongside noting which items have allergy limitations.
The service was a bit slower but they were busier as it was Saturday morning. Definitely book a reservation if you’re going on the weekend or for brunch!

This place was pretty good. We made a reservation the day before so already had a table ready for us. Shakshuka was SO good and I had a lavender mimosa and an espresso martini. My only complaint was the drinks took a really long time, I actually ended up canceling the martini because we were ready to go and it hadn’t come out yet but they brought it to me anyways. Our server, Kristin, was really nice and attentive. Just bar service was slow. It’s a bit expensive, but I think it was a good experience overall!

This place is EVERYTHING you could be looking for in breakfast and brunch! The moment you walk in you are hit with the setting/vibe in which the place brings. The food and drinks are remarkable form taste to presentation and the staff are absolutely WONDERFUL! The chef is REMARKABLE! I would give this place 100 stars if I could and I will gladly say that they are by far the BEST place in the Temple/Belton area! If you have not given this place a try, you NEED to because you are MISSING OUT! Not only is this a great place to bring the family, friends or have a nice date but it’s wonderful for studying or getting out of the house to knock some work out if you work from home like me! ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT AND AM SO HAPPY THEY ARE HERE IN TEMPLE!!!!
