OMG this place is so good. I didnt know what to expect but I was thinking it was more of a sushi place walking in….not quite. I dont know what type of restaurant or fusion I would call this but my wife and I split the burrata which is hands down the best bread and burrata I have had . The bread was charred and salted just perfect with a little balsamic. My wife got the pork chops on recommendation from the waitress. She never had pork chops before and said it was outstanding. I got the firecracker sushi roll and another that both were extremely fresh tasting. Right down to the wasabi, you can tell they use quality ingredient

Thrive is located on Marietta Street, in walking distance to the OMNI Hotel an CNN, with access to several parking decks. It offers a variety of food choices, including sushi, sashimi, and nigiri. It was unfortunate that they were out of hot sake and do not serve Japanese teas. The sushi selection is good, the specialty roles are set for eight pieces. The quality is good. The team is friendly and providing good service. My score a 4.3.

Sat by myself at the bar after a long day of conference talks at the GWCC just down the street. I wasn’t in the mood for any alcohol so just got a club soda with lemon and that was basically the last time the bartender even looked my way. But I did get great attention from another barback/food runner who took my order and brought my food out. The sushi was excellent, really enjoyed the dynamite and firecracker roll. The vibe at this place was really nice, and the drinks did look good – need to head back next time I’m in town to get a cocktail.

Had dinner at Thrive. We were a party at seven people and the restaurant was Located next to our hotel. We arrived at 655 for 7 PM reservation. Though I could see that our table was ready we were not seated until about 7:30. We ordered our appetizers and mains at the same time. While we were still eating our appetizers half our tables main entrées were delivered. The other half had to wait approximately 10 minutes for the food to come. One of the orders that were delivered was wrong and had to be sent back to the kitchen. When it was brought back, it was cold and had to be sent back again. By the time it arrived for the third time everyone else had finished eating. The steak was not taken off the bill, and we were charged full price for it, which was Unbelievable. Another person in our party ordered the duck, and it was unevenly cooked and Parts were almost raw. The sushi was good, and fresh though I do not recommend any of the meats as they were not cooked properly

Steele was absolutely phenomenal behind the bar. From the moment my husband and I sat down, her bubbly personality set the tone for the entire experience. She had this natural energy that made everyone feel welcome, like we weren’t just customers but guests she genuinely enjoyed taking care of.
The food was great, and while the wait was a bit longer than expected during a busy rush, Steele handled the chaos like a pro. Instead of letting the stress show, she kept the whole bar entertained, checking in, cracking jokes, and making sure everyone felt taken care of. It was honestly impressive watching her float through the madness with such confidence and grace.
Her service never slipped for a second. Drinks came out well-made, she remembered tiny details that are usually forgotten by most, and she managed to give each person attention even while juggling a packed bar. That kind of composure and warmth is rare in Atlanta, and it made the whole experience memorable.
Steele didn’t just serve drinks, she carried the atmosphere. Watching her handle the rush with such positivity and professionalism was genuinely admirable. If you get the chance to sit at her bar, do it. She turns a regular night out into a great experience.

Well I would have liked to eat here but the service was horrible! We had reservations for 5:15pm, we were going to a show at 7pm. The server told us the sushi would take 45min. We ordered sushi, entre and appetizer. We only got to eat the appetizer in 1hr 45min. We never saw any of the other food and only saw our server twice. Meanwhile all the other tables that came in after us got their food and were able to eat and leave. I had to go to kitchen and complain that we need to cancel our food and pay for the apps. The atmosphere was unbelievably loud that we were literally screaming and couldn’t hear each other. I’m disappointed. I was looking forward to the branzino. That waiter should be fired. Waiting nearly 2hrs for our food and not seeing our server is unacceptable. He either never put in our order or never brought it to us. And the one time we were able to flag him down he just said “it’s coming” and left.

We had a lovely dinner at Thrive tonight. Kaliyah was delightful and very attentive. We got 4 sushi rolls (Vesuvius was my favorite) and they were all delicious plus several salads ( grilled wedge was favorite). We have been here several times and each time does not disappoint. We will be back!

Visited the restaurant in celebration of multiple occasions. Our server was Queen- she was awesome!!! She was knowledgeable and able to answer every question we had about the menu. She made several recommendations and we trusted her word and was not disappointed! Queen was attentive, engaging, and warm, very refreshing for my quick trip to Atlanta. The vibe is chill and the proportions were satisfying.
