Came during lunch, was seated quickly. Chips were crispy, regular salsa was mild and flavorful. Spicy sauce wasn’t as spicy as I like, but it had a good flavor.
IMHO the spicy salsa needs work to be more spicy.
I ordered three hard shell tacos. Presentation was excellent!

Well dang! Lunch was awesome! And I’m pretty picky with Mexican food joints.
We haven’t eaten here in years. Found it too commercial and bland. HOWEVER, opinion changed!
We had a gift card for JPs and decided to grab a lunch. Wow!
The chips were up our alley, crisp, light and warm. The salsa stood out! Noticeable attention to ingredients and a little chunky…A+
I had a taco and enchilada and she had the shrimp tacos. Both were delicious! Sadly, the taco was saturated (w/oil) in the middle and cracked so it was hard to eat…but still good. The shrimp taco was great! Lots of shrimp! We took the enchilada home and made dinner with that and the leftover sides. Very good!
Lastly, the staff and management were outstanding! Server, attentive, sincere, etc. Manager, we didn’t ask for anything special but we had a question regarding an old gift card and the manager came over to try and resolve. It was no biggie, but he tried to solve it. Totally unexpected but he went above and beyond. A for effort!

Jose Peppers is kind of a Tex Mex Mexican food restaurant. The food is very good. The staff is very friendly. On busy nights, a little difficult to find a parking spot somewhat close to the door. Every so often they have burrito night. Great time to go but can be pretty busy. Worth the wait. I recommend.

We stopped in at this establishment for lunch yesterday during the lunch hour and were seated right away. I must set the stage and let you know that I had not been having a good day and was out of sorts, no excuses. Our waitress, she told me her name and I cannot recall It now; I did give her a hard time a few times, each time she handled it with class and offered as much help as possible. She was quick to bring whatever it was we were needing, always with a smile and very pleasant. She did also take care of my leftovers, boxing them up as a special request, and seemed happy to oblige. She turned my lunch into an extremely pleasant experience; an experience that warrants this exceptional review! We did speak to the manager to let her know of our experience and what a wonderful asset she had in this very special person. I hugged the waitress upon leaving for turning my day around. The food was wonderful and the establishment was clean, the atmosphere pleasant.

Our server Aaron was just amazing! Super funny and he recommended the Puffy Tacos (I thought he said “puppy” tacos at first and that made for a fun conversation) which were delicious! Thanks for a great dinner! He definitely deserves a raise!

I really liked the staff and, of course the food. The staff were very friendly. I liked the nacho chips they gave as an appetizer, and I asked to take what I had left as a takeaway. The waiter was so friendly—she even gave me two extra packets for free! I was surprised and delighted

I was seated immediately on an early Monday afternoon, and promptly attended to. It’s good food, and worth having again. I did have to dig to get the tomatoes out of the taco, but I can’t fault them as I always have to wage a “no tomatoes” war on any dish. However, I do have salsa! The salsa here is very mild, and I think could use some heat. Otherwise, it’s certainly an enjoyable restaurant with a very attentive staff in a well-cared for establishment.

Check your bank statement after you leave, my waitress decided to give herself a $5 tip.
Service was terrible, took 45 minutes just to place an order, constantly had to find someone to fill our waters, and supposedly there was a change in waiters in the middle of the lunch period.

I go to this location often. Service was good however what we ordered which was the Chicken Del Mar came up a little short, we decided everyone deserves to be off their game at least once. Manager Paul came around and asked how the food was we said okay he said just okay be honest what can we do better so we advised him we get the same meal every time so we know what comes on and how it suppose to be he took the criticism and made it right And bought us a whole another meal to go how it should be NOW THAT IS GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE thank you for stepping up and making us very happy customers. And yes we went back the following week at different times and our meal was spot on.
This Jose Peppers definitely gets 5 plates for getting it right each time.
