Their drinks are refreshing, and the wings, kabab and Charsi Karahi is absolutely amazing, full of flavor. The Anda Paratha is really goood!!
My absolute favorite, though, is their chai served in those signature mugs!! it just hits different! Warm, cozy, and karak every time.
Their menu has a lot to offer, and I can’t wait to try it all soon.

It was a good surprise visiting this place. Aromatics were used properly and the food was very flavorful. We tried mixed bbq platter and chicken briyani. Their spiciness builds up while eating, so plan accordingly while ordering food. And the servers were very friendly. I would definitely visit again.

Stop there while visiting Atlanta. We ordered mutton Peshawari karahi , chicken patakha and chicken biryani. Everything was excellent except biryani, it was ok. The good part was karahi did not have onion. I think it was better then karahi boyz in Houston and karahi point in Mississauga ON.

Had an amazing experience at Namak! I ordered Masala Papadom, Beef Nihari, Garlic Naan, and Gajar ka Halwa – all were well presented and tasted delectable. In addition to this, the service was on par and the restaurant had a sophisticated atmosphere to it. Overall I had a wonderful first visit and will be back to eat here soon. Thanks!

⭐⭐⭐WOWOW⭐⭐⭐ we recently shifted from Toronto which has one of the best desi foods scene in the world and were missing home. We have tried two desi restaurants in the area which were horrendous so we were nervous to visit Namak but OMG it was so good and my husband and I are very picky eaters. We got the paneer tikka masala, two plain naans and chatpatta chicken. I have found that Pakistani restaurants are good at making meat dishes but not vegetarian but namak absolutely is not like that. The paneer was very soft and dish very flavorful. The naans were so fresh and the chatpatta chicken was so flavourful too.

There are so many options for both vegetarian and those that eat meat. FIVE STARS AND I ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND NAMAK!!!! We will be back!

Our Order:
Charsi Karahi, BBQ Mix, Cheese Balls, Cholay, Rolls, Butter Chicken, Chicken Wings

We were charged $284 in total, including almost $37 for gratuity. When we asked about it, the waiter told us that this charge was not a tip and that we still needed to leave one separately. This is the first time I’ve ever heard of such a policy.

Food:

The flavors were nothing close to authentic Pakistani food — the BBQ especially was a complete disappointment. The chicken wings were undercooked. The only dish that was somewhat decent was the chicken charsi karahi. Our kids ordered desserts (cake with ice cream on top). The ice cream was missing, and when we reminded them, the waiter first said he would bring it. Then he returned saying it had melted and they couldn’t serve it. They only deducted $10 from a $284 bill. Butter chicken, cholay, and other items were bland and poorly made.

Service:

I had to get up five different times to remind staff about missing orders and drinks. The servers only checked on us once, and every time we pointed out something missing, they would bring just one item and forget the rest. Most of the employees were rude or had an attitude, except the girl who originally took our order — but she left shortly after. At the end, we ordered chai that never arrived. By that point, we were too frustrated to even ask again.

Overall Experience:

This was for 2 adults and 4 kids (all under 12). We’ve had far better food and customer service for under $100 elsewhere. Speaking with staff, it was clear the owner/manager mistreats employees and even keeps gratuity charges from them. Despite the terrible experience, we still left a tip out of fairness to the staff. Looking at the owner’s replies to other negative reviews, it’s obvious they don’t take honest feedback well. Many of the “good” reviews appear to be from people they know or from promotions.

As business owners who have traveled widely for food — from Houston festivals to restaurants in Atlanta — we can confidently say this was the worst dining experience we’ve ever had. Will not recommend or come back.

Customer Service: 0/5
Food: 1/5 (only because the karahi was okay)

Final Verdict: Extremely overpriced, poor service, and inauthentic food.

Yes i will edit and update this review if the owner replies with there negative feedback because they cannot accept there criticism and don’t know how to. Yes and to past from people they do lie and put it on there competitors sent the negative reviews here which is funny and unprofessional accusations to make. Anyways there replies says it all.

These guys cannot manage this place. I placed an order .. arrived an hour later I don’t think so appetizer should take this long to come also there presentation is very poor they just bring the fish by itself didn’t even gave any kind of chutney to go with also we asked couple of times they were still just roaming around keeps talking on counter.! Need to work on there floor management if I could give them zero star I would have did that .

Myself and my friend travel a lot due to work across the US as we are doctors and happened to be in Alpharetta for a few days and stumbled on this restaurant. Being fully Pakistani heritage, this was the best so far hands desi food with the BIGGEST MENU! Most authentic taste, atmosphere and Ali and Ash are exceptional! Always going above and beyond and excellent service! The owner is the nicest and most humble guy ever constantly asking if we need anything. If you are in town and looking for a place to feel like home, go here and thank me in your duas.

After seeing this place on social media, I decided to give it a try and had a very mixed experience.

In terms of service, it was very poor. There were only two tables including our own, and somehow we still received poor service. They never refilled our waters. The waiter not only forgot to bring us something we had ordered, they still ended up putting it on the bill. There was a man, I’m assuming the owner, who was very intensely staring at us basically the entire time we ate, but never approached us or asked anything. It was very awkward and uncomfortable.

In terms of the food, we ordered some kabobs, Nihari, bread and rice thinking it would be enough food but we soon realized it wasn’t and ordered a charsi karahi. The kabobs were all very flavorful and spicy. It was all juicy and delicious, and the naan was warm, soft and fresh. The nihari was definitely a let down. It was one of the worst niharis I have ever had, both in terms of flavor, it was extremely bland and the meat was not soft, but there were only two small chunks of beef and it was a “double serving”. For the price, $16, we were better off not ordering it. As for the charsi karahi- that was one of the best karahis I have ever had. It was so full of flavor and I was so glad we had ordered it. The spices went so well with the chicken and paired with naan- chefs kiss.

Overall, this is a spot I would return to for the karahi and bread, but most likely to go as the dine in experience was horrific.

Amazing, authentic Pakistani food with excellent service from Ali. We tried the charsi karahi, Afghani pulao, chicken biryani, and Lahore fish — all were delicious. The patakha chicken was a bit too spicy for my taste, and the gajar halwa could have been better, but overall a great dining experience!
