Had breakfast here three times while visiting Minnesota in early July 2025. The food here is Outstanding, especially the breakfast skillets. BRAVO and KUDOS to Tea, pronounced Tay-ah. She was Spectacular in recommending certain menu options and provided Awesome service during each visit.

The food is okay. I did breakfast and the portions are big but the food is average and the price is way overpriced. I ordered a breakfast plate with a side of cor beef hash and a coke. Was over $30 and was worth $20 like most diners. I love visiting different ones and sadly I will not be back to this one.

Our breakfast was good. Our server was great. However, our bill for 2 basic breakfast entrees and 2 cups of coffee was $43 plus tip. Combine this with an atrocious bathroom and I am giving this restaurant a low score. To get to the bathroom, you have to go downstairs (carpeted stairs, black with grease, and a handrail sticky with grime) and wind around a dark hallway to get to the lady’s room. The bathroom did not look like it had been cleaned in a very, very long time. Expensive breakfast, gross bathroom, low score.

My son and I absolutely love breakfast and decided to try out this restaurant. I would highly recommend this place to everyone I come across. The food was absolutely delicious and you could tell it was made with so much love. The owners were even more remarkable. You could tell they have some of the purest souls alive, the type of people who would take a shirt off there back and give it to you in need. I will be returning very soon and bringing my whole family to enjoy the amazing atmosphere and food they have to offer!

My sister chose this restaurant to host her son’s wedding rehearsal dinner. They opted for a custom Mediterranean style meal as the owner’s are from that part of the world. It was amazing! They are such wonderful people, and the place is so uniquely American diner, I was blown away by the meal! It was so authentic! We opted to eat breakfast there a couple days later before our flight home. The owner remembered us and met us with such warmth, appreciation and affection. The breakfast was as good as it gets! The chipped beef is the best ever! They use corned beef and it was the best. My Gyro meat breakfast skillet was awesome as well. The service was wonderful and it was no surprise why they are so busy. They do it right!

It was a Saturday morning so it was crowded. Waitress was very friendly, but made mistakes. Ordered breakfast selection without onions, but came with them. Brought us hashbrowns that we didn’t order, and they were barely brown on one side. Portions were large. Food was good but not great.

Not what it once was
The cost $$ have hit the standard all over ($17-18 per meal then add coffee,,,,)
Food was ok at best, beacon is now laser cut just as thin as Denny’s
All in all i will hit Windmill or another place,
I hate to say it but “To Me” felt like it lost its love of food now
just going thru the motions.
If you have low exaptation it will be ok – my brother called it
“it was fine, good enough”
PS: The staff are all wonderful ladies so I hate to say anything bad, like bashing a group of moms

The lady who served us appeared to not want to do her job that day. Upon delivering our food, she already had our bill ready to be dropped off as she brought our food out. There was nothing spectacular about the food, the service or the atmosphere. The owner was sitting at the first table by the door, he too, was also not interested in having us as their customer. We thanked them every time we received our drink and our food, but the server quickly walked off ignoring us never responding to us saying thank you.

Pretty good food, decent service, in an old greasy spoon restaurant. I had a Vegetable omelette, price wasn’t too bad, I think $13 or so. However I had a side of bacon an coffee, for a grand total of $26. I can only imagine, $3 coffee, and $10 bacon???!!!! Are you kidding me!!! The bacon wasn’t that good and neither was the coffee.
