This restaurant absolutely blew our minds! The food is so perfect! Burgers SO good and cooked to order (we ordered med and med rare and that is exactly what we got! The Bacon Cheese Fries App is the best we’ve had in a few years at least. They were PERFECT. Side salad is incredible as well. The serving sizes are completely amazing! The menu has the perfect variety of very interesting items without being overcomplicated!! The servers were efficient and knowledgeable. The value here is unexpectedly good for a main street type location. Whoever founded and runs this restaurant is exceptionally good at what they do. This is the sort of place I can see people driving halfway across the state to visit. It’s hard to come up with anything we would change about this restaurant, but we’re fans of regular height tables so having more of those available wouldn’t be a bad thing. And from where we were parked, the way the restaurant was lit made us think it was closed and we almost left LOL! Don’t let that happen to you and miss eating at this amazing place. Lastly, if you love cheese fries, DO NOT MISS THEIR BACON CHEESE FRIES!!!

Food was awesome. We are burger snobs and love trying them all over our travels. These were cooked very well, had a great blend of ingredients and great choice of beef. Very flavorful and great portion. Great beer list to choose from as well. Service at our table both times we visited were great. However, it’s clear they’re inexperienced with dealing with balancing patrons waiting and online orders. Almost every table inside downstairs was empty and they still had a 30-45 minute wait that they were advertising to the groups of people waiting outside. some people asked if they could sit to wait and they were told “no” because the tables were waiting to be sat for other people. They said the kitchen was too backed up to sit people….definitely watched face after face of patrons be upset. I’m not lowering my rating simply because that wasn’t our personal experience – but we did witness it and felt bad for those many groups.

I wasn’t feeling too hot, so we went out to grab a bite and spice things up. For a burger joint, they make a good hot wing. I got their “Carolina Reaper” and “Golden BBQ” wings. Think I’ll just stick with hot wings next time; the sweet isn’t all that.
My missus got a plain Jane cheeseburger with fries. Cheese curds to start has to be the move. Their marinara is good too.

Food was great! Fresh and hot! We got to sit downstairs which was nice. We are usually sat upstairs which is hard for my husband. I felt the waitresses may have been tag teaming our table so we never really knew who to ask for help. We never received our tea to go.

I asked the server how the chicken parmesan sandwich was, she replied good and the sauce what’s the write home about. We were heading to Asheville and were craving a burger so we decided to give Broad St. Burgers a shot. I had The Bubba and my wife had The California in a bowl. Both burgers were cooked to how we specified and were tasty and delicious. In addition to the burgers, what really stood out were the sides. My wife got fries and I got onion rings. The fries were like fried mash potato sticks. The outside was perfectly crispy and the inside was steaming hot and soft. They were absolutely delicious and the perfect consistency. The onion rings were not from a bag. These were about 1.5 – 2 in thick, battered, and fried. The onion itself wasn’t mushy, it had the perfect amount of crunch. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and would recommend this spot to others.

Stopped in here 4 years ago when I just moved to Statesville. Had a terrible experience. Left an honest review of my very negative experience. Swore I’d never return. Today decided to try again. Noticeable difference soon as I entered. Greeter was friendly , Lauren the bartender was great. Black and blue burger was delicious. Will return.

3/29/2025 – stopped in Saturday evening. We were quickly seated. The food came fast and hot. The Spicy Pickle burger was excellent.
Not bad. I had the firecracker burger with onion rings. Excellent choice had a very good flavor and a good zip to it. The onion rings were massive and food. The bacon cheddar burger was also very. The fries were a little greasy but excellent. All on all very good choice.
