Today 1/31 – maybe the normal workers were sick… cause the other reviews look good.
1. Banana Leaf Special Pho Large
1. It just seemed like a normal normal normal Pho.
2. Not a large.
3. Not Banana Leaf Special.
4. Nothing special and the Pho flavor, the flavor of the actual soup – was the most watery that I have ever experienced.
2. #23 Grilled Beef on Sticks – it was really beef strips. The smallest strip you could put on a stick, it was like a ribbon. It looked nothing like the picture.
3. Spring rolls – was there meat or protein? Don’t think so.
1. Peanut sauce, watery, no nuts for garnishing.
2. Poorly wrapped
3. No shrimp, pork, or chicken
4. Boba tea – delicious, but served w meal, maybe 30 minutes or more later. We had to wait for this incredible meal for at least half an hour no waters or anything was brought to us during that time. I actually asked for waters when I made my original order to no avail.
5. Hot coffee w condensed milk. Is it possible to taste worse than instant? Very poor coffee.
We had soccer this morning and were starving. I didn’t ruin it for my 8 year old by telling him how sub par this was. We smashed. He loved his Boba.
Avoid this place.

The place is so pretty and quaint! I got the Pho with steak, and it was absolutely delicious. The broth is the most flavorful I’ve tried so far, and the portion is perfect. I’ll certainly be back to try their chicken pho and other items!
Also, the service is excellent – the woman that served me in the afternoon was very sweet and helpful. Will be taking friends here as well.

Thai food can be such a hit or miss with me, sometimes its too spicy and sometimes its too bland, but this place was perfect for me.
Phone ordering was easy, food was warm & ready to eat in 15min, staff was friendly and could tell I was a first time customer. Indoors was decorated nicely, and I would have enjoyed the ambiance of eating onsite if I dined in instead.
We ordered pad thai chicken, tom yum soup with rice, mee ka tang with pork and a side of crispy egg rolls. Pad thai had a nice roasted flavor without being overwhelmed by sauce, and the mee ka tang was yummy without that (too often) msg aftertaste. Rolls were crispy as promised, with a simple meat paste center.
Everything was reasonably priced and portioned. Would definitely be here again if in the area!

I usually eat pho at least once a week, so I know what to expect from a good bowl and a good spring roll. I decided to try this place because of the great reviews, but honestly I was disappointed. The shrimp spring roll was the smallest I’ve ever seen barely any filling and just a tiny piece of shrimp you can see it in my photo.The peanut sauce also tasted off and just wasn’t right.I ordered a medium pho and it was the smallest “medium” pho I’ve ever been served anywhere!!!!! Definitely not worth the price.I’m only writing this because I don’t want the next person to waste their money like I did. Sometimes it’s better to stick to what you know. Service was good no issues there just the food!!!

Honestly, I should have read the low reviews before making the decision to dine here. I’m not one to right negative reviews or give bad ratings, but there is little good to say. If I would have noticed the negative response from the owner in one of the reviews, I would have never entered the building. Constructive criticism is extremely important when you run a business.
I was extremely disappointed in the majority of what I ordered. More meat needs to be added to the soups and especially sandwiches. And, the coffee was completely inedible. The service was ok and the person who served us – friendly. Unfortunately , we entered hungry and left hungry.

The shopping strip it is located in might not inspire much confidence, but this is low key maybe THE best restaurant in Jacksonville.
The dining room always spotless and the staff is friendly and welcoming. You can also see into the kitchen from the bar area and from what I can tell, they run a tight ship.
Now, here’s the thing… sure they have your favorite South Asian standards like Pho and Curry—but if that’s what you’re ordering, you’re doing it wrong. Please see the below guidance to get you started exploring the many delicious Cambodian classics this place has to offer.

Best bowl of pho in Jacksonville, I’ve had pho at many restaurants across jax and this place is the best of the best. So much flavor in the broth you can tell everything is very authentic and always fresh. Banana leaf is very clean and the staff is super friendly and gives great recommendations. This is my go to spot for an authentic and flavorful bowl of pho.

Amazing service! Some of the negative reviews have extremely odd expectations. The pho is fantastic. The large is the same size you’d see at any pho plaze for a large bowl, except here it is much cheaper. The spring rolls are fresh, delicious, and a good deal. You get 3 rolls for $5.95! Highly recommend the papaya salad!

The chicken Pad Thai was delicious and my children enjoyed the taro, strawberry and pineapple boba milk teas. They were friendly and the service was great. We will be returning to try other items on the menu soon!
