Got the bowl was good except for it more like bean soup. Too many beans with bean juice not very much of other ingredients needless to say they were swimming in bean juice. I think next time I’ll have them put the beans on the side so I can put them in the bowl without all the liquid.

I paid extra to get the Mixed eight piece meal. They decided to put three of the eight pieces were wings. With absolutely zero meat on them do not ever pay extra for the mix absolute waste of money.

They aren’t all winners. We know this is a chain but we’d never been before and we won’t be back. The food wasn’t bad but for the price you definitely expect it to be better. You can get better Mexican food just about anywhere.

The food was delicious. I asked to get a tiny taste of the cheese that goes in the burrito and the employee wanted to charge me, as if I was ordering a side of cheese. I didn’t want a full side of it, just a taste to see if that was what was the making it spicy. I tried to teach some about good customer service and that I didn’t need to be charged for just a smidge. Hopefully their manager teaches them.

Do not go to this location. Huge disappointment. Their chicken looks deflated and sad. Their wings have no meat. They are understaffed you pay way too much for food. You expect to be good and it’s not. Very disappointing once you get home.

They are open for one star, we were never greeted, as we waited for two minutes +, one employee walked pass us to clean the soda machine as we walked in without saying a word. Goodbye (no other customers were in the store. Need to close this location or higher professionals.

Food is great, but they are understaffed. NOT the hourly employees fault, let’s be real, but management’s. Young lady behind the counter WANTED to take my order, but the assistant manager called her away back into the kitchen. It’s chill, NBD, but there was an older “Karen” in the store complaining about everything, and the management wouldn’t stand up for the hourly employees. That was depressing.

We gave Pollo Loco another try today (September 12, 2025) and i am happy to report that the prior problems were corrected. We ordered our favorite, the Pollo Bowl and it was excellent. Thank you we will be back.

We have been patrons of this Pollo Loco location for years. We usually buy the Original Pollo Bowl Combo. For the past 6 months, there has been hardly any chicken in the bowls. Today, there was hardly any chicken, and the bowls had substantially less food in them, and the food was watery. The chips are not fresh they taste like they didn’t sell yesterday’s, and they refried them to serve today. What a disappointment.

My burrito was very dry. Hard tortilla. I will never eat there again. I would have complained right then and there. But I was too tired.
