The employees here are always so nice! I love their matcha and have tried a few of their pastries (all of which have been delicious). When I got a croissant, the employee even asked if I preferred a fluffier or more dense one. The space itself is such a nice vibe and if I didn’t often go on the way to work, l’d love to stay and do some work.
I got an iced pistachio latte with oat milk which i ordered half sweet and was perfect. Could still taste the flavoring but wasn’t overwhelming. The english muffin breakfast sandwich is big, freshly made and absolutely delicious. I also got one of the cookies which was thick, chewy and ultra soft.
Bring back at school and having a lot going on, I feel really at ease with just enough space to not feel crowded in.
They truly were open 24/7, and the staff was delightful, warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly. I ordered a dark mocha while my spouse chose the Mellow Mule, a mocktail. Both were excellent. The dark mocha lived up to its name: rich, bold, and not overly sweet, making it perfect to sip on during a cold night. My spouse said the Mellow Mule had a nice kick and was really flavorful.
The vibe was gorgeous. It captured that quintessential Portland feel with a touch of old-school bar charm. There was also a small array of gift-shop-style items lining the entrance that I would love to take a closer look at next time. Highly recommend.
Starting out by saying I Love love love this cafe. The food and drinks are delicious and well made. Friendly staff. A 24 hour coffee shop has been so needed and vital in this city so I am ecstatic that this place extended their hours. I truly hope the hours stick or at least it stays open late!! For night owls or insomniacs this is a great option. Very appreciated as a student as well! My only critique is seating. I wish more tables had outlets and I really wish there were comfier seating options! I know industrial interior design is super popular but for those of us who are disabled or older or even just have bigger bodies, hard metal or wood seating is not ideal. Would be better to take advantage of these long hours if I felt comfier sitting to study for longer.
Best BLT and vanilla breve latte!
Anyway, their pesto club is SO good, as well as their seasonal raspberry matcha. I’m not a big fan of the chai— too sweet for me— but it’s very yummy still.
Lots of seating, I see some regulars here and there. They also have this little shop area with cute local work. I haven’t attended but they have music on the weekends I believe. I think it’d be cool if there’s like an intentional social event to meet people (not necessarily trivia, but like hosting an origami class, we buy a drink or food, and sit and get to know people in our community at our favorite shop!).
They have lots of posters for other events. There is parking, but sometimes you can park across the street. There’s only one bathroom and sometimes the line can take a while.
Love this place!
They have a carefully curated gift shop with cards and trinkets.
They use local chocolate brand Whimsy for their mochas (and you can get a dark, spicy mocha). Excellent sandwiches too.
