Josie was amazing. I have visited her many times and I tell you she made this last visit exceptional. She knew what I needed before I even asked. If I could give more stars I would. Food was great…atmosphere was comforting … relaxing which I so needed right now. !! Thank you for making this another great experience.

First time visiting and it didn’t disappoint! The staff was super friendly, and the service was excellent from start to finish. As soon as we were seated, they served bread, butter, and water — a nice touch.

They have a variety of drinks to choose from: whisky, wine, sodas, etc..:

The food was amazing! Their lobster bisque is super good. I had the mixed platter with fried fish, shrimp, and fries. Everything was perfectly cooked, and the scallops were incredibly soft and flavorful.

For dessert, we tried the chocolate mousse cake and their apple crisp (I don’t remember the exact names ), but both were incredible.

Definitely coming back — great experience all around!

Came here from a reccomendation and it did not dissapoint. Really cool atmosphere and extremely professional servers. That being said, definitely comes with cost. We started out with the grilled octopus which was cooked perfectly. I wasnt a fan of the sauce and beans but everything else was solid. I also got the oyster sampler which was great. They had them all aranged in order so you knew which was which and all of them had very distinct tastes. The card was spot on for the flavor. I ended up ordering 6 more of the ones i liked as well as the scallop ceviche which was fantastic and fresh. My friend ordered the jerk mahi mahi even though he normally doesnt like fish and he absolutely loved it. I ordered the lobster bisque as well which was so rich and tasty. Overall this was a solid place, a little pricey considering how close to the ocean we are (for the oysters at least) . Once again though the service was top notch! Our server was on top of everything and very friendly and professional. One last note, the key lime pie was terrible. Not tart at all so i dont even think ot was key limes. The crust was super thick, and it was likely one of the worst key lime pies I have had in a long time. The creme brulee however was on point!
Thanks everyone

One of the classiest restaurants but still affordable. I like the settings of commodity. Not like some restaurants that have wooden chairs and tables in the middle of the room. It was comfortable and enjoyable. They have separate room for occasional use that can fit about 25 people. Menus of two variety. And I love dessert menus. Stuff is very nice and assisting. They’re patient in explaining your needs professionally. Love outside sitting as well.I would recommend this place to people to give a shot. Parking is little tough to find but manageable.

Great place to dine! The food was amazing and the oysters were so fresh! Only little mishap was trying to seat us next to the front door when we had reservations for a birthday dinner, we had to ask twice but they finally moved us to a better location where we could enjoy our dinner. Would definitely dine here again!

I think we found the best spot in town. There was live music on Sunday afternoon. The blackened Shrimp tostada was surprisingly my favorite! Great fresh seafood. Excellent, friendly staff. Lauren and Matt took great care of us at the bar.

Wow what a place! This is a must go, most see for yourself, must eat and drink. It’s hands down one of the best restaurants in CT. Check them out ASAP.

Chill vibes. Gorgeous inside. They have wonderful food for all types of eaters. My husband loved the oyster sampler and hotpot. I had the roasted chicken. Very good. I loved the creme Brule and the hot tea options. Our family had the steak and salmon. No complaints. Wonderful knowledgeable staff. Great drinks. I liked the punch it best.

Exceptional food, 5-star service, and live music during brunch felt like a cherry on top! They made me feel incredibly special on my birthday and it’s that same way every time we go. Thank you to our waitress and the manager for setting the bar high on customer service.
Had Brunch with a party of 6. Each dish was made to perfection. The drinks were wonderful. The menu had a wonderful variety as some do not eat seafood; truly a great place for all and will not disappoint.

Service- waiter came around when we first sat down and said he would bring bread, we never got the bread and he only came back twice to ask us if everything was good and to take the dessert order and drop on the check.

Food- we had the January prix fix menu. The oysters were delicious and fresh, the calamari was also well fried and not rubbery.

The main course left a lot to desire, especially when it was an extra $10. The steak was cooked perfectly but lacked all flavor. It was also rubbery. The greens were bitter for me but my companion enjoyed that flavor. The scallops wrapped in bacon were just okay and a little seasoning could have helped. The mashed potatoes were the best bite of the entire plate and I could have eaten an entire bowl. Over all for me the components of the dish did not work together and left a lot to be desired.

The dessert I brought home and have yet to try but my partner had the pistachio cake and has not stopped raving about it.

Final thoughts- the service was not what I would have expected. The appetizers were great but the main entree left a lot to be desired and the dessert was good. I think the value for the prix fix menu ($49) + $10 if you get the steak and scallops. Is worth it since you get three courses. I would just stay away from the steak on the prix fix menu
