Worst experience at this restaurant! Been here many times, today was awful. Overcooked food, bad service, wrong order initially, and what they call a BBQ sandwhich is a sloppy joe. Food was gross except for my daughter’s chicken fried chicken. And the girl who took our order shouldn’t be in customer service. She barely said 3 words and didnt listen. I wont be dinning here again.

Great food. The customer service could use a little improvement (e.g. smile and greet), but good nonetheless. There were many places to sit including outdoors so that’s great. Overall, i enjoyed it and cant wait to go back to try the ribeye because they were sold out.

The outdoor the restaurant looks great, plenty of parking and with outside covered seating available. Big menu, and lots of specials for each day. Place kinda reminded me of an old fashioned type restaurant with new vibes. Service was okay, nothing to complain about it. It’s a decent sized restaurant, I noticed another side with seating when I was walking out, so lots of seating available. The food was average, nothing great about it, just your classic American meal. The bathrooms were clean. They had self served fountain drinks, and a few homemade teas available. They also have mounted TVs, mainly news and sports on when I was eating.

The seating inside is nice..the booth are a bit narrow but I survived. There is outdoor seating as well.
First off the menu is great you’ll find burgers, steaks, fried catfish, specials and so many other things.
I ordered my burger on Texas toast with curly fries. Fries were fresh and OMG my burger was amazing!!! The bread toasted and the burger juicy and seasoned. The fries were fresh and good.
Note: service was very good and establishment was clean.
I would recommend if you are in the area to give them a try you won’t be disappointed.

I am guessing this place gets high reviews is because where it is. Not many choices. Only way I can see it having a high average rating. Cashier was distracted. The menu has names but no descriptions. When I asked the cashier what stuff was she acted annoyed. I ordered the Cajun chicken platter. If you like salt, this is the platter for you. I drowned it in A1 in an attempt to dilute it. No luck. The tea tasted soured. If you are passing through and looking for someplace to eat, keep driving or eat at Bucky’s.

It’s an ok place to eat. It’s been years since I have visited this establishment. Seems to have gone downhill a little. We have eaten here 3 times in this past month. The food is just not as good as it used to be, but they do have a good variety of plates to choose from. It’s worth a visit or two, but not impressive as it used to be. I have included pics of the menu as of October 13, 2024 because the dish I had wanted was from an outdated menu on here.

This place is fantastic. I came here two days in a row. They have a very diverse menu with different burgers, salads, fajitas, etc. The prices were a little high, compared to other similar joints for lunch, but the food quality makes up for it. I had the grilled chicken sandwich the first day, which was literally the best chicken sandwich I have ever eaten in my life. The second day was a grilled chicken salad with fresh, homemade ranch dressing. Definitely the best place to eat If you are in the area.

Excellent food in the heart of Wharton, Texas. I recommend the chopped steak platter with broccoli and steak fries. Also the Cheese Steak sandwich is delicious. Bottomless soda refills and great Icebox Chocolate Cream Pie for dessert. Super friendly staff too. Open for 25 years and still has great food!

Food actually was very good, fast service and friendly staff. The only thing was that the amount was huge, so I had to take food home, but my boys loved the food and my husband loved his burger.
