This is my second time having breakfast here. Their skillet was tasty. The coffe was good. Didn’t taste burnt like other places. It was busy at the time I was there, but food was served promptly.

This diner has so much to offer with an extensive menu, diverse fresh food and quick service.. This year upgrading his menu with gluten-free options serving organic dark roast coffee with options for the lactose intolerant carrying oat milk… But one of my pet peeves at a lot of breakfast places is frozen hash browns. I can’t stand it. Georgei s serving up quality, with a hard labor real hash browns.. 40 years in business and you can tell.. between the quality of the food and efficiency of the restaurant. And let me tell you how fast that kitchen is. I’ve never been at a place where you sit. Your order is taken and for the most part in less than 5 minutes your food is out…. I highly recommend this place. Although open 7:00 to 3:00. He has lunch options. The best soups. I’ve had split peas on Wednesday Navy Bean on Thursday. Beef barley cream of chicken Thursdays and Sundays and if you are a soup connoisseur you can order soup at 7:00 in the morning. That’s my type of restaurant.. I truly love this place

Great breakfast spot. Had a great meal here, the food is hot and fresh. I ordered the classic breakfast with eggs , ham and French toast. The French toast was huge . And my eggs were cooked perfectly. I ordered over medium .The service was friendly and the food came out fast even with the restaurant being packed. The coffee was also very good , strong and flavorful. Everyone in my group enjoyed their breakfast and I would definitely recommend this spot. Prices were a little high 15-20 for most meals .

The diner has an immense menu. If you are looking for the best place to have brunch, this is the place to be. We had a triple meat lover and el rancho burrito; they were both amazing and satiating. I definitely recommend this gem in Oak Park.

My family and I are here for early Mother’s Day and my experience here was okay and average. I ordered crepes with side of scrambled eggs and sausage and the crepes were okay nothing great. Scrambled eggs were nasty and tasted like it was prepackaged egg mix. Hot chocolate tastes like Swiss miss , very disappointing. I won’t be coming back

Delicious food and kind, quick service. Not much to ask for in a place to eat! Our waters and coffees were always topped off, and we were checked on the perfect number of times. We heard great reviews from friends, and we have no choice but to strongly agree. We will definitely be back at some point.

Started with giving me a regular coke when I ordered diet since I’m a diabetic. Next soup came and was very good but all down hill after that! My husband ordered a gyros that was terrible…mushy meat and very little meat at that. He actually returned it and in 39yrs of marriage he’s never done that! My BLT sandwich was just ok, the lettuce and tomato was so cold almost frozen, thats all you tasted i had to take the lettuce off. The fries were glistening in grease and soft and mushy after ordering them extra crispy. The owner came over and took my husband’s gyros off the bill, while another waitress basically said it was our fault for not asking if the gyros was on a spit…it was not! Finally my bill with a $6 tip was $32. Expensive for a BLT sandwich not club, diet coke and coffee. Won’t be back.

Such a decent place to have some good breakfast, as you walk in they tend to you quickly and your order is taken and you receive it pretty fast. The skillet tasted okay, it was a bit on the soft side. I like the bacon crunchy and the potatoes crunchy too, it was a bit too soft but tasty. The mickey mouse pancakes had my daughter’s belly nice and full. The service is very quick and very polite.
