Hadramout is truly an amazing and authentic Yemeni experience. Went there after a long day of shopping, was very tired, and had to have some good food placed in my stomach. Alhamdulillah, Hadramout made that come true! The service was amazing, food was scrumptious, bathrooms were clean, and best of all, a place for salah! One hundred percent recommend this restaurant to those who want a nice meal! Allahumma Baarik!

This place is garbage. Beyond trash, I’m sick that I had to resort to eating this. Had I not had better, it would’ve been ok (I suppose) but bc I’ve had better … I know better. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone. The Marag soup was SALTY. The fahse was cooked in the same exact broth, as it had the same exact taste and level of saltiness. Hell even their bread looked different. That’s the bread used for a shawarma. The lemonade and mango drink could not have been made in house and if it was, please clean the dispenser bc it tasted bitter and dirty. I’m okay w never eating Yemeni food in houston again, thanks to this place.

You can choose your sitting arrangements between a regular restaurant tables and chairs setting. Or you can opt for an authentic Arabian style sitting on the floor on comfortable cushions in a beautifully decorated and completely sectioned off private area.

This place is fast becoming one of my FAVORITES in Houston. Proper Yemeni food. We always order too much (generous portions) but take it home. The restaurant staff are so kind and attentive. I appreciated the prayer area so I could pray Maghrib after breaking fast. Wallah an incredible experience especially the floor seating options with comfy carpet, cushions and floor height tables. You forget youre in Houston and feel like you’re in Sana’a.

Ordered chicken mandi from Hadramout Restaurant through Uber. I’ve lived in Dubai for 7 years, so Arabic food is always close to my heart. The chicken was juicy, the rice had great flavor, and with Uber’s 50% discount, it was totally worth it! Definitely a good choice.”

Honestly best yemeni restaurant in Houston. I recommend zurbian and mandi lamb. The broth soup is a must try. Service is impeccable. Restrooms are very clean. Even tea is tasty. This place is a hidden gem and a must try for meat lovers.

Ate here during Ramadan and had the best experience, from making the reservation and being able to place our food order ahead of time, to arriving and having a private dining area with dates and water ready on the table, to getting our food quickly and enjoying a leisurely Iftar.
