Too good of a happy hour deal to pass up! Service is wonderful. Attentive and kind. Food and drink are good, standard elevated bar food and some nice wines. Nothing that stood out too much, but it’s a great standby place. Can get loud and crowded depending on time of day and time of year.

If you’re looking for a place to host an event, I can’t recommend SideBar/NightShift enough! I recently held my small wedding there and I’m so happy that we did. The food, drinks, and vibes are all on point and the staff made everything easy and seamless.
I loved that event bookings come with a drink tasting to create signature cocktails (or mocktails) for your party. We had ours with the talented Zavian and it was such a cool experience to see his creativity flow. He asked us what our preferences were for liquor, flavor profiles, and even colors before making some options on the spot and adjusting the flavors based on our notes. We ended up with two yummy cocktails that were perfectly suited to us. The tasting also included an appetizer, which was much needed after those drinks. Zavian worked the wedding too and our guests loved the other “dealer’s choice” drinks he was able to put together for them.
Emma and Stephanie were so helpful with planning every step of the way, providing guidance/suggestions while making our vision come to life. Emma was on-site with us the day of the wedding and she was an absolute rockstar! She made sure setup was executed flawlessly, herded our guests, and- without us even having to ask- brought us a plate of appetizers while we finished up photos to make sure we were able to eat. She was flexible and ensured everything ran smoothly despite our timeline shifting partway through the event. Credit also goes to all of the behind the scenes SideBar staff who supported Emma/us throughout the whole process.
It was an absolute pleasure working with SideBar. It was the perfect spot for our intimate family wedding and we are so glad that we will be able to keep going back in the future.

Just got into town and decides to have brunch here. The main door was closed and we literally walked past it. Finally found our way in from the back. Service was prompt but unenthusiastic. Our croissant with Virginia ham and the sweet potato fries and side salad was delicious. Plenty of sittings inside and outside. A nice place for lunch.

Sidebar is one of my favorite spots — I’ve been there several times, and every visit has been a great experience.
The appetizers and main dishes are always delicious, and the cozy, beautifully designed atmosphere makes it a great place to enjoy a meal.
The staff are friendly, polite, and all professional, which adds to the overall positive experience.
One thing to keep in mind: make sure to ask for the appetizer to be served before the main course. In my experience, they sometimes bring everything out at once — even though it’s called an appetizer for a reason!
Highly recommend this place — definitely worth visiting.

We reserved the swanky Night Shift space above SideBar for my husband’s birthday party this last weekend. We had cocktails and heavy apps. Emma helped us coordinate the whole thing and was so helpful and easy to work with. When we had a change in schedule, she was so accommodating. Everyone loved the apps- delish sliders, genral tsos cauliflower (iykyk), caprese salad, wings… everything was a hit and guests went back for thirds! Anthony helped me set up and was so great in checking on our guests throughout the night. The bartenders, Danny and Zach, made the best cocktails that were craft quality and dangerously delicious! They were so fun with the guests as well. We highly recommend this space for your next event!! We loved it!!

I stopped in on a Saturday afternoon for a quick lunch in mid-March. I was traveling and have been to Leesburg before and figured it would be a good place to find lunch. They seemed to be busy. The host offered me a seat at the bar since I was a party of one. There was only one other person at the bar. The bartender greeted me quickly and took my order. I ordered a southwestern chicken salad and that came out quickly as well. It was good. It had a bit more of the tortilla chips than I would have liked but it was fine. I only had water to drink but they had a good selection of liquor and beer. The bartender was attentive. Prices were comparable to other places I have been in town. The atmosphere was casual but busy. I couldn’t see the dining area but I certainly could hear it. I would maybe come back again if I’m the area.

Arrived in Leesburg without any plan and ducked in here at 7. Now we like live music, but we rejected the table right next to the stage. We were then escorted outside through a courtyard and into another room where there were just two other couples dining quietly. Aaron took great care of us. Food and drinks arrived quickly. The cheeseboard was tasty and generous. We were still nibbling on it when our dinner arrived. My grilled chicken pesto pasta was fantastic. The wife enjoyed her fish and chips. After learning that their happy hour begins every day at 2pm, we vowed to return with friends.
