Best breakfast burrito I’ve ever had! Beans inside were very flavorful, potatoes soft, flour tortillas you can taste they’re homemade and I fell in love with their spicy green sauce! Will definitely be back!

My fam has been coming here for 30yrs, since it first opened. It was a tradition to get breakfast tacos at the end of each week. (Fam treat) unfortunately shrinkflation has hit Lila’s very hard and the price of the tacos has gone up 150-200% AND the tacos are less than half the size of original Lila’s.
The salsa is still totally on point.
Pretty disappointing.. not sure I’ll return at this new price point. Cheaper for me to make my own breakfast tacos at home.

This place has been there since I was a little kid and I’m now 52! The place definitely needs updating , but I also understand not wanting to move locations as many places seem to close down once they do. But they could use a little remodeling inside. Food is always good!

When you go to a restaurant you would thi k you would be greeted with a smile or a friendly hello but no you have the most ill mannered person. The women was without any regard to anyone. First impressions are everything and my impression was that she hates her job and she doesnt like people. Definitely a person that turns a good day to a bad one. The ladies in the To-go area were so much nicer and friendly. The food was notnworth the price. They were smaller then my hand the beans were salty and definitely to small. The only thing that was good was the salsa. I would not recommend this restaurant. I rather make my own food then to eat here.

I ordered two tacos to go when I ordered my meal for dine in I was waiting.
At the table for my two tacos so I can check out the lady said we were waiting for you to finish eating before we bring you your tacos so they would stay warm. They did not even make them. I wasted time waiting for my food because they assume you would rather have it on the way out and then they don’t even make it very poor service. Furthermore, I waited 15 minutes for them to ask me what I wanted to drink because they were too busy, making forts and knives and napkins and laughing and joking while the customers in there waiting then Nobody knows what’s going on they act like they’re stupid straight out of Mexico. This place used to be very nice very clean, respectful people now they act like they don’t care about their customer. I don’t know how they maintain business. I will never come here again, and I am a local.

Reviews led us to some really good food. My wife enjoyed and barely shared her ground beef enchiladas with rice and refried beans, just kidding she shares too much and somebody’s getting fluffy…me. I enjoyed my beef fajita chile relleno with rice and refried beans. Great service. We’ll be back for more of these goodies. Really good super thin chips and amazing salsa.

We shared the chicken fajitas with an Horchata and everything was finger licking good. The chips and salsa were fresh and couldn’t stop eating them. We had left overs fajitas to take back. Definitely a must to come here if you are in the area!

First time here and It was a great place for breakfast. I was wanting some pancakes so ordered some pancakes. The only downside was the syrup. It had no flavor, it was to watery and was not tasty at all. Not sure if it’s a no name brand, light diet syrup but I had to use a lot of syrup to just make it worth the white. I’ll come and eat again but won’t order pancakes if they have the same syrup. Overall I think it was great.

An excellent family owned Mexican restaurant. Everyone in here is so kind and they take great of you. Great house made chips and salsa. Authentic flavors all around. I love the down to earth feeling inside the restaurant. Last time I went I got “Lila’s Deluxe” and it was delicious.This a great authentic Mexican restaurant.

My boyfriend & I always eat at Krave Tacos in Friendswood area but we heard many good things about Lilas so we decided to try it since it’s closer. The first time was breakfast which we loved , tacos are full & tortillas are great! The last 2 times we went for dinner & we only get beef fajita tacos on flour. The 1st time, the quality of the taco sucked & had very little meat. So we decided to give them another try as we work 12 hour shifts M-F so getting a good dinner is exactly what we need after those long shifts. Tonight 11/2/2021 , we decided to get tacos & go with Lilas to see if they have learned from their reviews. Big mistake ever! This is so sad! This time I have pictures at that. We only get 5 beef fajita tacos in flour & that’s it with onion & cilantro on the side. Very simple & plain. So disappointed with the quality and quantity of everything. Very poorly made. We will never be going back. Thanks for ruining our dinner. Tacos are $3.20 each, should be made BETTER. There are other places that are family/privately owned. Everything you name it & the quality and quantity is 100% better & that’s why they have loyal customers who continue to come back no matter what. I drive an hour to Krave for their tacos bc they are THE BEST ever made.
