It was a day I decided to come to this restaurant to check out.

Service was okay; servers were professional. It was busy on that day. Restaurant was loud with a lot of customers and it got busier. When I left there was no seat left.

The food was not good. My pork was burnt. The rice combo tasted dried and not delicious. I tried the new fried chicken dish which was too oil. It also didn’t look too fresh. Pho was again not too good or bad. I think I got another spring roll dish too. Price was slightly lower compared to other restaurants. What I mostly don’t like wasn’t about the taste but more of how the food was presented. I’m a little picky when it comes to presentation because I’ve tried hundreds of restaurants over the years. Overall I won’t come back because there are better options.

I got the rare beef and chicken soup, with the boneless fried chicken. The beef was a little over cooked. Fried chicken was good, nicely complimented by the mayo sauce.

Soup was good overall, waiters were really insistent on taking our menu’s away, we were undecided if we might want more food. Nevertheless, if you go with the rare beef and brisket soup, it will be a good meal.

I recently visited Pho Tai Bac and had a really great experience. The restaurant serves authentic Vietnamese food, and the pho was especially amazing. The broth was rich and flavorful, and the noodles and beef were fresh and cooked perfectly. The portions were generous, so you definitely get good value for the price. The restaurant was clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful, making the whole experience even better. If you like Vietnamese food or want to try pho for the first time, I would definitely recommend this place

A small vietnam restutant located at richmind hill with good food and service. xl pho with beef only $17. Service was excellent. Families sat next table order rice paper wrap first time, the waitress explained to them how to wrap with extra paitence. At one time, the little girl wrapped the tissue paper on top of wrap to eat, and tissue paper was stick with the wrap then the waitress brough extra rice papers for them and wrapped again , such a nice gesture with two thumbs up.

Great place to get Vietnamese food! It’s tasty, and cheap! This place is cash-only.
The store is clean and has many places to sit although a bit cramped.

I visited Pho Tai Bac at Richmond Hill and honestly didn’t have high expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised.
The restaurant is run by a team of very friendly Vietnamese folks, and they do a great job of keeping the place open late, which is perfect for a late-night bite.
The pho itself might not look like much, but it has a comforting, homey flavor that’s quite satisfying. I also tried the bun with grilled pork and spring roll, and it was surprisingly good—the grilled pork really stood out and exceeded my expectations. Overall, a solid choice if you’re looking for a late-night meal.

Vietnamese Vermicelli Platter
An excellent selection of Vietnamese vermicelli served with fresh vegetables, sugar cane shrimp, flavorful beef and pork, and a crispy egg roll.

“Suggested “ Enhancement
Adding freshly chopped red chili and garlic to the fish sauce would elevate the overall flavor.

Exceptionally clean, friendly and welcoming.

The place is spotless and finding a seat and getting welcomed to sit down took seconds.

I ordered a medium Pho bowl and was blown away by the proportions and the quality of the stock. They brought out the bone flavor by braising them. It’s the key to a quality Pho.

From sit down to leaving, it was a pleasant and quick experience. The staff are very friendly and it feels family run.

Prices are very affordable and quality is on point.

If you’re in the area and want a hearty bowl of Pho, come here.

Pho Tai Bac is hands down the only pho spot in the GTA that I always come back to. I’ve tried so many places, but nothing compares to the quality and consistency here.

The broth is incredibly rich, flavourful, and comforting. The noodles are always fresh, the portions are generous, and the ingredients taste high quality every single visit.

The service is friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Whether I’m craving something cozy on a cold day or just need a reliable go-to meal, Pho Tai Bac never disappoints.

If you’re looking for authentic, consistently amazing pho in the GTA, this is the spot!!!
