My husband and I used to come here all the time before COVID, and for a Valentine’s date this year he asked where I wanted to go—my answer was Shish without hesitation. Even after several years away, the food is still just as fantastic, with generously sized portions. The baba ghanouj is the best I’ve ever had.
The family who owns and runs the restaurant does so with genuine warmth, always smiling and offering the friendliest service. Despite not visiting for a few years, one of our favorite servers even remembered us. It truly felt like we were visiting friends.

Went seeing decent reviews. Extremely disappointed with the quality of the food. Dips were very salty and chicken was dry, old and salty. Falfaels were also very dry and salty. On top the place is expensive. Couldn’ finish the food and had to throw it away..

Shish Kabob Grill has really great food. I enjoy stopping by here for lunch. The falafel appetizer is wonderful – 8.5/10. The Greek salad with chicken shawarma was fantastic 9/10. The gyro is pretty tasty too! – 8.7/10. I found the onion rings to be a little plain, but still worth getting – 6.5/10. All in all, great service, food came out fast and it was an enjoyable experience.

Came here for lunch with some friends. We had the whole restaurant to ourselves! The service was excellent. The food came out in a timely manner, and everything was prepared fresh. They have a good amount of seating inside. You order using a QR code that is on the table. The gyro chicken shawerma sandwich and fries were fantastic! I will definitely be returning.

Visiting from Texas and chose to have my birthday dinner here the other night. We were super pleased with our entire experience. The restaurant was very neat and clean, and every time someone stopped by our table, whether it was to greet us, to drop off our order, or to check on us, we were met with immense kindness and warmth. On top of the coziness, the food was so insanely flavorful! We loved the grape leaves and the lentil soup, which was piping hot and delicious. The hummus, probably the best I’ve had anywhere lately, was delightfully savory and smooth. I would highly recommend the kebab platter, as the lamb and beef have an incredible char to them and the veggies add a dimension of caramelized sweetness to the dish. The rice that the kebabs were served upon tasted very rich like it was cooked in a broth instead of just water and spices. Washing it all down with some mint tea was the perfect way to wrap up an overall lovely dining experience!

A delicious Halal resturant.
– I loved the Shish Kabob plate. The meat combination with pomegranate molasses gives it a unique and delicious flavor.
– The Hummus, rice and pita bread served with the meal was great as well.
– Personally, I recommend the garlic dip as well. It is spicy and delicious with the meat.
Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant.

We really enjoyed the food and the staff was very courteous. The restaurant was nice and clean. Great halal option for anyone in the area. Walking distance from the state Capital Building and the US Mint. There are paid parking options around if you are looking for one.

This was a great place to eat. I had a gyro, and it was easily worth the $13 price! I honestly wasn’t expecting service in this joint, but it was top notch for a lunch. The food was delicious, and the people were friendly.
I would come back again the next time I’m in the area.

I’ve wanted to eat here for many many years now and finally did, and wow!!! It did not disappoint. We both ordered gyros plates and babaganoush. The hummus that came with our entrees was outstanding! The gyros were very good and the tzatziki sauce was a little weird because it has garlic, which is not traditional Greek style. We ordered French fries for the child and the fries were some of the best around Denver. We will definitely be back here.
The bread and the hummus were wonderful. The rice and gyros were very good too. Everything we ate was exceptionally great.
One thing that caught us by surprise was the door being locked. Apparently the homeless try to use this restaurant’s bathroom for drug use. While we dined in, we saw many drug addicts wandering outside. It might be safer to keep your family at home, and just pick up food here instead.
Overall we loved our food and service here and would recommend this place to family and friends.

Cute and casual little kabob joint with amazing lamb kabobs! The hummus isn’t what I’m used to- but I bet that means it’s authentic! Serving size was huge, but good in relation to being $22 for a meal. It did include pita, hummus, and a side salad, which were all good!
