The food was very good. Buffalo chicken dumplings were amazing. I can’t wait to go back and try something else. My only problem was that the server 1) was not around enough and 2) brought me the wrong dressing for my food when I was specific with what I asked for. Update:5/2024 food still delicious and service was very good. Our server was attentive and friendly.

First time here. Pre- birthday celebration. Had to wait for a table but got bar seats after about 30 minutes but to be fair the band was already playing. The manager did come by to apologize for the wait.

Delightful early dinner within walking distance of my accommodations on 10th Avenue. Although there was plenty of availability for outdoor dining, I chose to eat inside & was seated immediately by the hostess. My server arrived equally as swiftly & inquired fondly as to my choice of beverage. I had unsweetened iced tea, although there were multiple options available for beer on tap, as well as cocktails & wines. The bar dining area has multiple large screens to watch your favorite teams. No closed caption was noted. Selections on the menu were broad but not overwhelming regarding your choices & typical pub menu. I ordered the nachos, French onion soup, & French fries.
My server suggested the happy hour size nachos, and I appreciated that immensely because the small portion was huge! I had requested that all my selections be brought out at once, and they were delivered piping hot in a very short time! My crock of soup was flavorful and onions soft. The French fries were crisp, hot, & perfectly salted. The nachos were excellent! My drink was refilled promptly, and everything was absolutely delicious! Another patron inquired as to my soup. I recommended it. Absolute LOVE of a server!! If you are nearby or in Bellmawr Beach, I encourage you to check them out.

Terrible night. 2 of 4 people got the wrong order. 1 person couldn’t even eat their meal it was so bad. The waitress would disappear for extended periods, I found a piece of jagged plastic in my salad and MY CREDIT CARD GOT HACKED

Excellent experience, zero issues and great food. Went for lunch during happy hour, had a good time with some delicious small plates. Service was mediocre but we ate outside and will definitely return again in the future.

Came here for lunch on Father’s Day. It wasn’t extremely busy. They give you complementary popcorn unfortunately when we came, it was extremely stale besides that the food was decent. Would I plan to go back no but would I go back if I was around the area and was hungry sure

It was a lovely evening, so we took a table outside. No wait. The staff was friendly and efficient. The food was fresh and tasty. Not gourmet … just good pub food. I had the cod sandwich, which was delicious. Nice size piece of fish. My wife had shrimp scampi, which she enjoyed. The kids both had chicken dishes, which they also enjoyed. Portions were ample and the prices were good for these inflationary times.

Doing a job in the area and Googled a place to grab a quick cheeseburger, Anchor tavern came up and we tried it out… Great burgers, cooked perfectly, pleasant atmosphere and got seated right away! Definitely going back!
