Loved the live band. Our food was great. I had a terrible server who either forgot us or was really bad at her job because after the food runner came we didn’t see her till we asked for our ticket. I’d wanted a drink refill and dessert but skipped it so I can’t say if it would have been good but our meal was excellent.

We love the Johnny Cakes here! Wish I could make it myself!
I had the chicken Alfredo and was pleased with the sauce ratio but it was a bit bland imo.
My husband had the steak medium and it was cooked perfectly and he was very happy with the potato.
We go to this place for anniversary and birthdays when we’re in town and will continue to do so.
I hope they never take the Johnny Cake off the menu, it’s my favorite!

Amanda was great! I hadn’t eaten there for a long time and I brought in some friends visiting from Wisconsin. We were so happy!

Stopped into The Blacksmith in Jackson, TN, and the experience was a mix of highs and lows. The appetizer—the deviled eggs—was absolutely delicious and honestly the highlight of the meal. Great flavor, great presentation.
The burger, however, was pretty underwhelming. It came with no sauce at all, so I asked if they had a house or signature sauce. The server told me, “No, we’re not a burger bar. We have ketchup, mustard, and mayo.” For a restaurant with a strong local reputation, I was expecting something a bit more thoughtful or flavorful on that front.
The atmosphere is nice, with a comfortable, rustic dining space and friendly staff. But based on this visit, I’d come back for appetizers or something other than the burger, if returning.

First time eating here, Ashley was an amazing server! She gave us a whole run down of the menu & we had great service the entire time. Food was delicious & we came at a perfect time it wasn’t busy at all. We will be back 🙂

What a wonderful place The atmosphere is relaxing and light was perfect. If you have issues with small print on menus make sure you have your glasses I highly recommend the seafood platter as an appetizer, even if you are alone like I was. The food is delicious. I struggle trying to pick my favorite, but oddly it would be the Cole slaw and the dip for the ahi tuna My server was on top of everything my glass never went empty and she was bringing out my next meal in mere seconds of me finishing my appetizer

We ate outside during a cold rain but the setup was warm, and dry. You must try the giant pretzel and beer cheese appetizer. That alone was worth the wait. The rest of the food was really good. Baby back ribs that fall off the bone.

My husband and I stopped in for dinner. Everything came out exactly as it should, in a timely manner and as delicious as always. Kandis was our server, and she is the type that draws you back to the restaurant. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. 10/10 recommend this establishment and remember to request Kandis as your server!

Parents had ribeye with the loaded baked potato, which they said were wonderful. Shrimp & grits had excellent flavor. Forged deviled eggs, were okay, but my parents loved them. I wasn’t a fan of the fried egg, but the candied bacon on top is yum!
I am very disappointed in the service. We had to ask for refills for our empty glasses. Our empty appetizer plates, as well as salad bowls, were never picked up. She dropped our entrees and was gone. We weren’t asked about dessert, but they were busy, so the table needed to be turned. With the check and after I paid, there was no thank y’all for coming in or anything. Just picked it up and walked off. I waited tables for many years and understand when a restaurant is busy. But basics were missed here.
