Pet friendly patio, excellent selection of Wings & the Buffalo chicken and cheese dip with fresh warm chips was so delicious!
Pleasant atmosphere and very large bar seating area.
Clean bathrooms and pleasant staff serving and at bar.
Prices are reasonable and service is good.
Location is ideal, especially if you need to visit Home Depot and Walmart after eating.
The Gridiron wings are awesome because they are not breaded and fried.
They are Cajun and Jerk rubbed, grilled/baked and hot!
Offer of to-go water is nice surprise.
Would highly recommend and will be back with our dog again soon!

We rolled into Hurricane Grill around 9 PM on a Friday night and were pleasantly surprised it wasn’t packed. After a bumpy flight from California, all I wanted was a drink, comfort food, and no wait time.
My buddy recommended this spot, and it hit the mark perfectly. I love sports bars because sometimes you just want to embrace your inner caveman, grab a beer, and watch people clobber each other over 10-yard increments.
Service was sweet, though not exactly encyclopedic. I asked if they had any wheat beer—our server swore they didn’t—then I spotted Allagash White on the chalkboard. Cute, friendly, and honest effort wins over attitude any day.
She recommended the Philly Cheesesteak (she’s originally from Philly), and she was so right. It was exactly what I needed—hearty, flavorful, and comforting.
Prices are fair, portions solid, and the atmosphere delivers that relaxed, buzzy sports-bar energy. After a long travel day, this place was the perfect landing spot. I’ll be back!

Traveled through this area with a small dog on October 20, 2025. This restaurant had outdoor patio seating that was welcoming for our dog. Our server, Esmeralda, was efficient, professional, kind, and had a marvelous sense of humor. The food was great with the best margarita that I have tasted in a long time. Never felt rushed and the atmosphere was relaxing. As our experience was so delightful, we visited the same place on our return home (October 25) and requested the same server. Our experience was, again, excellent. We were so impressed that we requested to speak to the manager, Beth. She was so pleasant and thankful for our compliments. Would highly recommend this restaurant and plan to return next time we are going through Jacksonville. Nice job, Esmeralda and Beth!! 🙂

Got a to-go order. Ordered wings and nachos for me and my wife got the coconut fried shrimp. She loved the shrimp (as always) but the cole slaw that came with the shrimp was spoiled and smelled awful. Nachos: All eateries should serve them “to=go” like Hurricanes. Build your own nachos with the ingredients they provide. NO soggy chips and great “plate” of nachos. Wings: average. Buffalo sauce gets 5 stars. Would have been a higher score if they didn’t serve spoiled food.

This is the worst hurricanes and here’s why! They do not do $.99 wings at all like the other four hurricanes. They do not offer an unlimited amount of wings on a Tuesday night. They have zero specials they’re only special is $13 for 10 wings. You can’t even get their so-called special to go.? Folks tend to forget you can get 20 wings from Publix for $15. The fact that I can’t even get 10 for 13 to go is pathetic. I hope the owner reads this and understand he’s missing a lot of to go since some people suffer from social anxiety.

Hadn’t eaten here in a bit, but will be coming back a little more often after today. Went for lunch and was seated quickly. Placed our order, and it came fairly swift. We enjoy the food very much. I had the Chicken Ranch on flatbread. It was nicely flavored and quite enjoyable. My wife had the chicken bowl that had Mexican street corn in it (sorry, but she doesn’t remember the exact name) and enjoyed it a lot. She even let me have a bite, and I wanted to do halfsies with her. Delicious! Both were from the Local Favorites menu and can certainly see why they were on there. The service was actually good, Brian did a great job, but they seemed shorthanded as a rush came in after us, and they could have used an additional server or two. Brian became quite busy, as he was also the host, so no reflection on him. He just could have used some help.

Food was actually good. I love how for starters you can get everything. I tried the boneless wings and garlic parm fries and holy crap. They were so good. Service pretty good wasn’t having attitude chill and was a pretty good for a server. Atmosphere was Meh didn’t mind it.

MAYBE IT’S BC OF MY ATLANTA FALCONS JERSEY OR THE BRAIDS BUT THE CUSTOMER SERVICE THAT I JUST EXPERIENCED IN THIS PLACE WAS HORRIBLE. SO I ORDERED THE MAHI FISH SANDWICH BUT WHEN I ORDERED IT, I ASKED FOR THE SAUCE ON THE SIDE, BUT WHEN I CAME INSIDE TO GET MY ORDER, I REALIZE THERE WAS NO SAUCE SO THE GIRL SAID ITS ON THE SANDWICH , I CHECKED …. NO SAUCE SO SHE WENT TO THE BACK WITH AN ATTITUDE, OF COURSE ASK WHOMEVER ……THAT PERSON TOLD HER THE SAUCE WAS ON THE SIDE. I TOLD HER AGAIN THERE IS NO SAUCE IN THE BAG or ON THE SANDWICH . THERE IS ONLY RANCH FOR THE WINGS SO SHE WENT RAMBLING THROUGH MY BAG.
