25 dollars for five dryed out pieces of brisket. Mac cheese isn’t worth getting. Beans and toast was about the only thing worth eating. Won’t be back

The atmosphere in the service was awesome. Very good. The thing I don’t like is the ribs taste like burnt cigarettes I’m sorry that’s the way I have to describe them because they taste like cigarettes and the meat didn’t taste right now. The barbecue sauces taste amazing the barbecue chicken I recommend more than the porkand the barbecue was finger licking highly recommend the chicken though and the greens and everything else just gotta be honest the pork ribs were not good at all but again everything else was amazing.

Awesome BBQ. Not over smoked which is a pet peeve of mine.
I had the Kansas City ribs Diana had the brisket. Both were tender yet had enough integrity that they were not mushy. The Mac and cheese rose to the occasion in all its glory as did the baked beans.
Love finding these family run spots.
We will be back.

I ordered a whole array of barbeque at 4:30pm for family dinner. The pulled pork, the chicken, the brisket, wings and sides were ordered from the menu along with a brownie. Almost $100. EVERYTHING was dried up, except the brownie and quite possible they crock potted the Brisket it was . The dogs wouldn’t even eat it. Seemed like reheated badbeque from the previous day, very hard to swallow, and the sides were pretty dreadful, honestly. This is the second time we have had this places food, and it was 2x too many. Any place that opens i competition would do very well and likely put this place out of business. These folks do not do barbeque well. It’s a shame because the service was fine, and it didn’t take long to put the order together… [now I know why, it was yesterdays meats] We do not recommend, drive a little further.

Great food and service. Scared for a minute looking at the location but everything turned out great.

No frills, friendly service, and great BBQ. I had the pulled pork with baked beans and coleslaw and thoroughly enjoyed it.

2nd time and it’s all a big regret. The 1st time was not great, but this was awful! For a holiday weekend Friday, you’d expect fresh food. But no! Dried up old pork, chicken was the same and no seasoning, very old macaroni, and the greens were burnt! It tasted like they try to reheat the greens and burn the bottom of the pot. I would review the Brunswick stew but we ordered it and never received it. The potato salad clearly came out of these very large plastic containers that were in the drink refrigerator in the dining area. No homemade items here. It’s a shame that this is representing barbecue in our area. Some oversight and management is needed. The dining area is dated. Simple things that has an easy fix was overlooked such as the vinyl tablecloths that are many many moons passed their prime. The customer service was good, except the missing side.

Really nice, local place. Food was served quickly, cold food was cold and hot food was hot, servings size was generous, particularly for price. There is a nice selection of sauces on the table. My husband liked his sweet tea, I thought they had lemonade, but it was fountain drink. We both got brisket plates, surprisingly the green beans and toast were my favorite, my husband also really liked husband sides (baked beans and potato salad). Brisket was good, tad dry, but good. Even though I prefer sweeter coleslaw, it was good combo with the brisket. My husband actually has been here before and we would come again. If you need gas and a to go plate, come here.

From the outside, it looks like a little hole in the wall, but it’s a Great BBQ place. They serve the pork plain and have several different sauce choices in case you prefer ketchup or vinegar based. The fixins are also plentiful. I got beans and greens, my wife had Mac and cheese and slaw. We were pleased with the speed of service.

We’d been traveling all day, the guys were starving. I’d been snacking all the way down 95, so I wasn’t super hungry. I mention this because my full stomach may have been the reason I wasn’t overly impressed.
I ordered the pulled pork sandwich. I found it to be quite dry so I went back and ordered coleslaw to plop on top then I drowned it with a combination of hot and sweet BBQ sauces. Unfortunately, it still seemed kind of dry. I took 3 bites and passed it on to 2 traveling companions. They cut it in half and devoured it after cleaning their own plates. The 3 guys with me didn’t seem to object to anything on the table.
The delivery was lightning fast and the lovely lady taking orders was delightful.
The restaurant shares a parking lot with a Subway and a gas station, making it a convenient stop, right off 95. Definitely worth a stop.
