Probably one of the worst chipotle I have been too. They decide to close the dine in line and make people do online ordering only at 8:15 pm. They close at 10 pm. Food was limited or not even available. The didn’t even bother telling me. I only found out when I got home to eat my food. Online order took over 30 min for them to complete. Then they lose the order sticker with my name and don’t bother to announce whose food it was. I just happened to hear them whisper my name. You would think they would announce whose food it was as we were all waiting for our order. Try to avoid if you can.

I honestly don’t understand the negative reviews for this location. I work next door (at the casino) and have been coming here regularly for over a year, often picking up orders for coworkers, and I’ve never had a bad experience. The food is always fresh and tasty, even when they’re busy!
The staff is consistently friendly, funny, and welcoming. They actually talk to you like a human, which I really appreciate. I’ve also seen how stressful things can get during rushes. Being downtown, this location serves a diverse crowd, and unfortunately, some customers treat the predominantly Black staff disrespectfully, impatiently or rudely, which is uncomfortable and unfair. The team handles way more than they should with patience and professionalism.
From my experience, this location deserves far more credit than it gets!

I have never written a review like this, but this location has earned it.
The Chipotle Mexican Grill is hands-down the most hostile, disorganized, and disrespectful fast-food experience I’ve ever had — and that’s saying something.
Staff members have yelled at me on multiple occasions, spoken to customers like we’re inconveniences instead of paying guests, and regularly act as if basic courtesy is optional. The tone is aggressive, dismissive, and borderline confrontational. You don’t feel welcomed — you feel unwanted.
They also seem to make up their own rules daily:
• Randomly switching to “online orders only” in the middle of the day
• Claiming they’re “closed” while the lights are on and employees are inside
• Refusing in-store orders with no signage, no explanation, and no consistency
None of this is posted. None of it is explained politely. You’re just told — rudely — to deal with it.
The food quality somehow matches the attitude. Portions are inconsistent, ingredients often look old or poorly prepared, and orders are wrong more often than not. This is not what Chipotle standards are supposed to be.
I’ll be honest: after repeated visits, the way I’ve personally been treated feels targeted. I’m not making accusations — I’m describing how it feels when you’re repeatedly spoken down to, dismissed, and treated with hostility while just trying to order food. No customer should walk away wondering why they were treated that way.
This location doesn’t need a minor adjustment — it needs new management, retraining, and serious oversight. Right now it’s damaging the brand.
If someone from Chipotle corporate reads this: please understand this isn’t one bad day. This is a pattern, and it’s unacceptable.
I will not return, and I strongly recommend others avoid this location until major changes are made.

I walked into this Chipotle while the team was preparing a large catering order, and the whole situation was handled really poorly. Several customers were already waiting for chicken, but instead of balancing the catering and in-store orders, the staff decided to give everything to the catering order. One female employee kept yelling that there was no chicken, almost like she wanted people to leave instead of waiting. When we said we’d wait, she got visibly annoyed and told us it would take 40 minutes, which made a few people leave. Meanwhile, a worker right behind her was cutting up a ton of chicken, clearly enough to share between both orders. It just didn’t make sense. The lack of teamwork, problem-solving, and customer service was disappointing. Customers in-store shouldn’t have to walk out because a manager and staff can’t split product fairly or communicate better. A little common sense and professionalism would’ve gone a long way here. Now I’m stuck with the rubbery steak. Yuck. It’s not good. They also need more lessons on grill. This location is SO BAD. I’m POSITIVE the five star reviews are fake and paid for because NOBODY likes this location. I work in the area everyone dreads going there… most avoid it all together. A few people would rather go to another location near by. Yall HAVE to do better. There’s not a single teenager working there, a bunch of unhappy, angry, miserable adults that hate their job so they take it out on the paying customers. The worst people I’ve met since being in Cleveland are the people at this Chipotle. If I was the owner I’d shut it down for a month find new workers who actually have happy lives and start fresh. I promise you’ll make more money and get more business with new staff. It’s what everyone is waiting for. The people in the area can’t WAIT for it to be new people in there working.

It took us more than 45 min to order and we were th only one there. One employee just walked off the line and ignored us. Line ny time she started orders was to the door. They didnt prep for dinner service. Their was no drinks available. How are you a store in downtown and have no drinks and no silverware.

Walk in at noon. Containers should be full. All of them are mostly empty. Queso has crusted over. Guacamole is brown like it has been there for over a day. The guy that makes my order makes eye contact with me and then walks away for five minutes. Doesn’t say anything to me. As he makes my bowl, he actively complains about working to me. Seemed angry at me for being there. Not good service. Not clean.

Went to grab a quick dinner. Walked up to the counter and immediately was met with a disgust look on her face. The person serving me did not say a single word until I asked for veggies and queso. She then began to put pico de gallo on my burrito. I told her that I did not want pico de gallo on my burrito and she looked at me and said that I said that I wanted pico de gallo. I then politely told her that I wanted queso and veggies and she looked me dead in the eye and said “we don’t got that.” I was very confused so I accepted it. Got my lettuce and cheese and paid for my burrito and left. I am very unsatisfied with my service.

This is the WORST Chipotle in Cleveland. Customer Service is horrible. The employees are yelling and talking loud all across the restaurant. They are ALWAYS out of something and the dining area is ALWAYS a mess. Management needs to seriously get it together or just shut the whole place down ️

This is by far the worst chipotle I ever been too. The people were not welcoming or had good customer service at all. The workers looked like they didn’t even want to be there or want me there. Also the rice was so undercooked and they had no drinks and no lettuce like what!
This chipotle is not worth your money!

Do not eat here—this place is absolutely disgusting. The food was awful, the rice was undercooked, and they were basically out of everything. Portions were laughably small. The staff was rude, hostile, and clearly did not want to be there. The woman taking the order didn’t bother asking what I wanted and just threw brown rice in the bowl without asking because they had no white rice. Zero professionalism. On top of that, the place felt dirty and unhygienic. This Chipotle is poorly run, poorly staffed, and honestly gross. It needs a serious health inspection and a complete management overhaul.
