Wow! I’ve come here a few times for a lunch sandwich or salad, but this was my first breakfast experience and it didn’t disappoint in the least! I cannot get over how good their German breakfast sandwich was! I can honestly
I never would have thought of doing breakfast on a pretzel, and I’m sad this was a first because it was THAT good! Also, I must say picking a breakfast item was super hard because the entire menu is just top notch.
Their coffees are so delicious too! It was hard to pick hot or iced, so I may have gotten one of each. Oops! I do not regret this choice at all!
I also had to take some of their freshly baked items home for the remainder of the week. I cannot wait to get my hands on them!
This place was packed, but it ran effective! The young man who greeted me was wonderful, the cashier was sweet, the barista was excellent and the owner was the most friendly, and helpful gentleman! I can see why it was packed—this cafe is an all around win! It’s adorable inside the dining room, staff is great, menu is diverse and super unique, and everything was amazing! I will be back soon!

Great service. Fantastic coffee. Quaint and cozy interior. And the food has always been exceptional. Especially this Rodger Dodger. Get the egg over easy for a truly delicious meal. This has been a favorite spot for years, but this sandwich was so good, I had to write a review.

Love Cafe chew, always have a great experience. From the moment I walk in I am greeted by the friendliest, most helpful waitstaff. The new owners are always so kind and have done a great job maintaining this well loved small town business.
The bahn mi is incredible, my mom goes for the Reuben which was also amazing (of course I had to try it). Other favorites include the cranberry walnut chicken salad sandwich, Cali BLT and poached pear salad- OMG now if only they’d open a shop in Wareham so I wouldn’t have to drive over the bridge for my favorite cafe! But it always makes for a great day trip! Highly recommend!!

The food and service was very good. Sandwiches are fresh and healthy ingredients. Do not skip desserts, I had a toffee cookie and it was amazing. It got real busy around 12:15 and it was raining. We were lucky to get a seat. They have a little outdoor seating for nice days.

When looking for a place to eat lunch in Sandwich, we came across this place. When we walked in, it was bustling, and we could tell it was going to be good! We ordered food at the counter and then it’s delivered to you by calling out your name when ready. They had gluten free bread available for any sandwich. Both of our sandwiches were delicious. They came served with Cape Cod chips.

What a beautiful cafe for all the senses! Lovely woodworking inside and the most amazing chocolate chip toffee cookie I’ve ever had. The Vermonter sandwich was delicious. Coffee was rich and dreamy. Highly recommend if you’re in the area.

It was okay. Have had much better Cobb salads. Great portion but didn’t like the quality of the chicken breast and bacon. The lines could be arranged better as takeout orders, sit in orders and bathroom queue can all get mixed up sometimes. It was very busy though so the other stuff on the menu might be good

This was the cutest place. We just happened on it leaving the Cape Cod area. The omelette was super fresh and flavorful and my husband had the lobster grilled cheese which was very good. Sometimes seafood sandwiches taste too “fishy” but not the case here. Service was good and all were very helpful. Bakery items looked good but we were too full to try any. Be prepared to spend a bit more on breakfast but we expected that. Loved it!!!

I’ve been eating at this cafe for years, including through the ownership change, and I can honestly say it has only gotten better. When the new owners took over, it was clear they were taught with care, and the fact that they kept the entire staff says everything about their values. The food is consistently amazing and always fresh. Everything is made on site, including their own salad dressings and the most incredible marinated peppers. The homemade soups are always a highlight, with plenty of vegetarian and vegan options that never feel like afterthoughts. The bakery display is dangerous in the best way, with fresh baked treats that are impossible to resist. Beyond the food, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff is genuinely kind and friendly every single time. This place truly feels like a community staple, and I am so grateful it continues to thrive.
