We absolutely love this place! The food is always cooked fresh to order, the service is very friendly, welcoming and quick. This is your nowadays rare country feels like home excellent food place to be! There’s a reason is gem is always busy! The country decor is so cozy as well.

Don’t let the amount of cars in the parking lot deter you from coming in…they have a HUGE “breakfast bar” that you can sit at immediately… no waiting! The food is great and the portions are HUGE! Everyone who works there is super friendly and your food comes out quick.

I’ve been going there several times this month, lately and the food is good, but it seems like there’s always some kind of issue.
The last visit was a little mind boggling because I ordered the chicken tenders with 2 sides, 1 being French fries and the other potato salad.
I asked how many chicken tenders come with it and they said 5 (10.99 was the price for the meal) and I was thinking wow, you know, they always give a huge portion of fries and the potato salad portion was good too… 5 chicken tenders sounded like a lot to me and I could share some with my daughter.
When I got the 5 chicken tenders, they were SO tiny!!! For 10.99 i basically got way too many fries and some potato salad with tiny chicken tenders. That was a bummer. They said they have them that small because they want to keep them tender.. okay, I get that but at least offer more tenders.. the 5 that I got maybe equated one and a half regular sized tenders. Either lower the price or add more to the portion size.
The food was good.. it just sucked paying for mostly potatoes and getting very little for the entree…
We’re not going to eat here again because something happens every time we go there and we just want a place to dine and enjoy the food.
The staff is just fine and friendly and the place always looks clean.

We stopped here on our way to the beach. To say we were impressed is an understatement. The food was delicious. The portions were huge. None of us left hungry. Price was reasonable too especially since none of the kids complained they were hungry an hour later.

This was a very good place to get breakfast. The food was good. The restaurant looked very clean. We did not have to wait for a table. They add an extra egg to the breakfast special for free. My service was outstanding. My waitress was so nice and polite. She checked on us constantly to see if everything was ok or if we needed a refill on our coffee.

We stop here every time we visit Stone Mountain State Park! Good-sized portions at reasonable prices! Get there early or be prepared to wait! Luckily, service is pretty fast and friendly. I like the $5.99 loaded home fry platter special!

Was my favorite breakfast restaurant in North Carolina but they keep dropping the ball. You don’t touch ready to eat foods without washing your hands. Came there and I saw cashier handling my toast and I know she didn’t wash her hands actually she admitted it and I gave her back the bread. Very insulting not too mention they didn’t put my fruit cup. Don’t think I’ll be returning.
