My husband and I visited this location on Valentine’s Day around 3:00 pm for an early dinner/late lunch. While it was seemingly busy, they told us the wait was only 10-15 minutes. We went back to our car to wait and 8 minutes later we were ready to go back in. That was a pleasant surprise.

Our server, Parker, was great. He was kind, attentive, helped us make choices, and brought us our every request with a kind attitude. Thank you!

As far as the food goes, phenomenal as always. Not a single complaint. We even mentioned to the red-shirt manager who came by our table that Texas Roadhouse is always consistently delicious. I have never had a bad steak, salad or side from them. The manager was warm, inviting, and friendly.

Overall, we had a great dine in experience for it being Valentine’s Day. It felt like any other weekend day, and food was great as usual. Also, we got a front parking spot, so that just adds to the good review. 😉

I’ve had their steaks–and they are delicious–don’t get me wrong, but I want to honor the custom salmon Caesar salad that I often have here. Instead of ordering 5 oz of salmon on a Caesar salad from the salad menu, I prefer to order an 8oz grilled Salmon from the seafood section and then get a double side order of Caesar salad to put it on. You get more salmon that way for only a few dollars more. Awesome! They also have an interesting selection of non-alcoholic drinks. You don’t get to throw the peanuts around anymore like before Covid, but it’s still a fun experience.

Went on New Years Eve for the first time ever. Our server was Amy. Amy made our first time a amazing EXPERIENCE! Her knowledge and friendliness was a 10. We did not feel rushed. On one of the busiest nights of the year. The food was incredible and came out exactly as we asked. I had the filet with blue cheese and onions and mushrooms with ribs combo. My ribs fell off the bone and my steak melted in my mouth. My fiance had Prine rib and shrimp meal. The shrimp was scrumptious and the prime rib delicious. The blooming onion and salads and bread were wonderful! We were highly impressed and very happy with our meals and experience ❤️. We will be back! Thank you Amy for a wonderful dining experience on a crazy busy snowy night! We will be back!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Texas Roadhouse – Lake Orion, MI (Brown Rd.)

If you’re anywhere near Lake Orion and craving a steak that reminds you why steak exists in the first place, stop what you’re doing and get to the Texas Roadhouse on Brown Road. This place isn’t just good—it’s a full-on gem hiding in plain sight.

We ordered the New York Strip and the Ft. Worth Ribeye, and let me tell you, both came out so perfectly prepared it felt like the grill master had a personal vendetta against mediocrity. Juicy, seasoned just right, cooked exactly to temperature—these steaks didn’t just hit the mark, they walked right up and shook our hands.

The salads? Unreal. The house salad and Caesar were so crisp and fresh I honestly had to check the calendar. It felt like late June, like they had a secret vegetable garden out back and someone sprinted out there to pick everything the moment we ordered. Cold bowls, crunchy greens, everything bright and clean.

And the combo appetizer—stunning. Just stunning. The kind of starter that makes you pause mid-bite and look at the person across from you like, “Are you tasting what I’m tasting?” Everything hot, everything seasoned, everything done with care.

From start to finish, this Texas Roadhouse delivered the kind of meal that reminds you why dining out can still feel special. Friendly staff, great energy, food that over-delivers—this location is the real deal.

A true gem.

Perfectly cooked steak without insaine prices. Ordered a filet, full slab of ribs and a 20oz ribeye, 2 sides (that came with meals) under 100.00 without tip. Service was fantastic even silent drink refills. I absolutely would recommend this location and absolutely will be back.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE! We’ve given this place chance after chance.. no matter how you order your steak they will cook it rare, the steak is tough, you never receive your order correctly. We’ve also ordered the smothered steak with cheese and they just gave us a side of mushrooms. We’ve ordered a side of green beans and there were hard bits in it. Please just save your money.. we’ve called the restaurant as well to give the feedback.

Placed a To Go order for (1) entree and (2) 12 dozen rolls and butter. Pick up was set for 1:15. I got there at 1:09 and waited for the text. No text message so I walked in at 1:17.

Gave the gal my name and she said that they were baking the last order of bread but that my order was complete. That should’ve been my first red flag; “bread baking” does not mean complete. That’s like me telling my boss that our savings target was reached when I’m still waiting on rebate checks. I’d be fired for lying. Second red flag is how slow she was moving in an “I don’t care” attitude. Not the Texas Roadhouse service I’m used to. Like I ordered food AND added a tip to pick-up order. At least move at normal speed.

Waited around and finally she came out with the missing bread. Double checks my order and says I’m all set. This is five minutes after my pick-up time. I received the text that my order was ready at 1:20 pm. I incorrectly assumed that my order would be accurate because I paid for it and the receipt thing had everything checked off.

Grab my order and head out. The ONLY reason I picked Texas Roadhouse is because my son LOVES their rolls and butter and we were celebrating his birthday. I get to my destination and pull out the food and I’m missing my “complimentary rolls” that came with my entree and all the cinnamon butter that was supposed to come with the (2) 12 dozen rolls.

Call up the restaurant to let them know. Get on the phone with a manager. Firstly, I’m told the rolls that come with entrees are considered “free” so they won’t make them but would send me a voucher for the rolls. I know business, those rolls aren’t free. The cost is just wrapped up in the entree cost. Secondly, I’m told that I can come and pick up the butter or they can send me a voucher but the butter “is only $1.99”. I don’t care if they’re $1.99; my son loves the rolls and butter and it’s his birthday.

What the “kicker” was is that the bread boxes had flowers drawn all over them. So your employees have time to draw flowers on the boxes but can’t make sure orders are correct or timely? The response from this Texas Roadhouse tells me that customer service and accuracy are not prioritized.

I’m fighting every urge to not have my CC cancel the charge since I did get some of my order albeit not everything.

Went here for two birthdays. It’s always busy so do call ahead seating. The waitress was absolutely great. Very attentive and helpful. The food was great. It is as little loud. There was 8 of us and we did call ahead sitting and only waited a few minutes to sit. The text message kept us informed

They don’t let you break the peanuts and throw them on the floor anymore! Well at least that’s what they are going for since they put the peanuts in a bag and a bucket instead of how it used to be. The restaurant is always booming with people. Owners must be making a fortune especially since the bread is so addictive with the little cups of butter they give you! So delicious! Thanks again I will be visiting again when I’m in town!

Best steakhouse I’ve been to beats Lucky’s no contest. Steak was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor no steak sauce needed. Showed up at dinner time had to wait an hour but definitely well worth the wait.
