Such a hidden gem! Visually this place is busy with all the interesting decor and I love it! You can either choose from their large buffet options or cook to order items. And let me tell you the 16oz Ribeye or $23.99 was fantastic! Service was exceptional and I’m almost certain there were more people constantly cleaning then there were patrons dining. If you want a delicious meal at affordable prices don’t miss this place!

10 stars! Wide variety of food for everyone. Walleye was amazing. Baconator Burger – “The Best” says our cowboy. Buffet- 10 Steak, shrimp, Chicken, Prime Rib, Walleye! Most incridable experience. Sonya !!! Will drive out of our way to eat here again!

If you love country cooking covered in gravy, this is the place for you. The employees are nice, it’s a purchase a meal or go to the buffet type of place.
What I was really impressed with were all the antiques. Old first edition cars, wagons and supplies. It’s like your eating in a quality museum. I love it. Prices are what you expect for a place that serves multiple options to eat.
They serve impressive desserts though. May I suggest the crispy cinnamon rolls… my mouth eats just thinking about them.

This is a great find.
I had gone to three other places looking for a meal but I didn’t go into the others. I’m glad I waited.
They have some excellent parsnips on the buffet along with bacon wrapped bratwurst and very light wall eye.
The entire meal, complete with beef stroganoff and beef tips was ever so succulent.
And all for less than $10!

Absolutely FABULOUS start to finish! Great, excellent customer service and super friendly staff. Went on the seafood night, great choices like cod, catfish, shrimp prepared two way, crab and salmon plus all the the usual comfort food offerings. The restaurant also had many different pieces of art like old feed sacks, cars,other farming tools from the distant past. Go check it out its well worth the drive!!

We had a great time at JoDean’s! It was my friend’s first time there and she loved it. She’s normally not a fish person, but JoDean’s fish is so good that she couldn’t help but just chew and nod in approval. The atmosphere is so neat, with antiques at every glance on the walls, ceiling and the floor. Our waitress was awesome and remembered our drink selection and always stopped by to check on us. We will definitely come back.

This is the second time I have eaten at JoDean’s and maybe the last. It seemed really unorganized this time. We were a party of 6 and were told that our table had already been set up but we had to wait for a hostess to seat us and then they sat a larger party of 10 that was in after us first. We were crammed next to another table. I could barely squeeze in my seat. We ordered the seafood buffet and unfortunately it was not that impressive this time. Lots of empty dishes and the food was just okay…definitely not worth the price we paid! I wish there were less fried and breaded seafood options in the buffet. The veggies were bland and chewy, the desserts were mush and the ice cream was awful. Waitress was friendly but one of the other staff was kind of rude especially cleaning around the buffet. I nearly was tripped with the broom and the lady scoffed and said “well move!”
