Garden Cafe in Woodstock is an absolute gem! The place is super cozy and inviting, with a lovely outdoor seating area. This place is the perfect spot to relax and savor a delicious meal. The Buffalo tofu wings were absolutely incredible! They were spicy and crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and cover with a tasty magnificent sauce. I’ve had some really good vegan food, but these were definitely some of the “best” I’ve ever had ✨. I also tried the portobello panini, and it was amazing. Hearty, savory, and perfectly grilled with fresh ingredients. You can really tell they put a lot of care into everything they serve. Their tea selection is also worth mentioning. I had a fragrant herbal blend Mayan Chai that was so soothing and paired perfectly with the meal. If you’re looking for delicious plant-based food made it with love in a peaceful setting, this is the place to be. I can’t wait to come back!

Super cute cafe for plant-based food! I’ve been a vegan for 10 years, and I rarely see a place bustling like this place was on a Sunday at 2pm. Luckily we were seated right away. Our waitress was very nice and careful with any allergies we listed.

As for the food – we got the tempeh BLT on whole grain and the portobello mushroom panini on focaccia. Side salad and potatoes were excellent. The BLT was very delicious but fell apart easily. The panini was disappointing – the focaccia bread wasn’t really focaccia. It tasted like thanksgiving stuffing and was dense. The sandwich components tasted bland as well, and we thought it needed something else to hold it together (like a vegan cheese).

We also got the seasonal apple cake for dessert – absolutely delicious!

The cafe is dog friendly which was amazing. Our pup was able to sit inside with us (I spotted three other dogs during our lunch there).

My only complaint about the physical space was that it was super hot inside even though it was a crisp fall day outside. They needed to turn on the AC or open the door. Overall a great spot for a quick bite.

Spectacular.
The only problem with this place is that there’s too much delicious food to choose from!
We indulged in the cashew brie special appetiser and it was easily the best vegan cheese I’ve ever eaten!

My first time here but my wife was here years ago. We had friends going to the Colony so we had an early dinner at Garden Cafe. It’s located in a great location in the town center. We went about 4:30 on a Friday. It was about half full but we got a table at the front window.

The menu options are very varied and creative vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free. We had looked at the standard menu online but we all ordered off of the extensive daily specials menu. I ordered the Buffalo Cauliflower Tacos which came with a side salad, my wife had the vegan lentil loaf with mashed potatoes and sauteed kale. Our friends ordered seared tofu with polenta, which also came with the sauteed kale. Everyone was thrilled with their choices. While each being very different and plated up nicely, no one wished they ordered differently. We were all full and ordered the apple crisp with a scoop of a cashew based vanilla ice cream on top!

A great experience and we’ll go back and try something else next time. I don’t think you can go wrong with anything on the menu!

Ive been a frequent patron of The Garden Cafe for several years. It is always my goto spot when I think of eating a wonderfully prepared meal outside of my own house. The food is always so delicious & healthy. The serving staff is very attentive and accommodating. I was there with my girlfriend last night; it was 20 degrees outside, but we were warm and cozy at The Garden where we were very comfortable and welcomed. This is a fantastic spot for tourists and locals looking for a taste of Woodstock!

Loved this place! Mushroom tacos were awsome. Great atmosphere. Our waiter was a pro, a real natural, one of the best in the area. ( this coming from someone who spent decades in the restaurant businesses) . One of the few places with a gluten free beer. Can’t be beat Tacos & Beer! A personal welcoming feeling rare in the business now. The crowd at lunch all seemed happy even the dogs!

Cute little cafe. Came for the ceremonial grade matcha lattes several times when we were staying nearby. The milk options are oat and soy. The matchas were enjoyable. It gets pretty busy but very efficient when ordering drinks at the counter. The space is small and a little crowded at times. I would definitely like to try food next time too!

So good we had to go back the very next night!

It’s rare that I want to give a restaurant more than five stars. The Garden Cafe is the best vegan restaurant I’ve ever been to. It’s also one of the best restaurants I’ve been to in years. What makes it special is a unique blend of flavors that will have your epicurean palate trying to figure out what the chef did to so surprise and delight your taste buds while they bask in an afterglow of yumminess. The first night we had the cauliflower steak with mashed potatoes and mushroom gravy, the Garden Bowl w/seared tofu & pesto sauce with spinach tomato polenta with sautéed greens and a Greek salad. All were perfectly stunningly delicious. The second night we had the cauliflower steak again, the Greek salad again, the garden bowl with seared tempeh and an amazing lasagna. Also cheese cake dessert. We can’t wait to go back again!

This. Place. Is. Amazing. First of all, Woodstock is such a cute little town. If you’re looking for vegan / plant based food, look no further. It had just hit fall (autumn), and we sat outside in their garden. It was so amazing. We got the peanut tofu satay, the cashew nut Brie cheese, and the salt and pepper tofu with polenta. It seems like they have a rotating menu, but everyone’s dish looked amazing. Go for a walk around the town, get some records from the record store or some hats up the street.
